May 1st HivePUD .:. Back to Roots

Yes! The midnight has passed, so we are officially in May... I can do my HivePUD and power up my liquid Hive! Hehehehe... Yes, I could do that before, but I like this awesome "collective effort" and it's a real pleasure to participate...

I know that I'm not qualified for any of those awesome rewards, but believe me, doing this just to support the event is even better! But, you can maybe qualify for rewards, so check out the official link to this month's announcement at the end of this post!

In the last HivePUD, I have mentioned that I was focused on Layer-2 tokens from Hive-Engine and that was my "excuse" for not powering up that much... But, I run out of options there (or better said, I have invested what I have imagined), so it was a time to get back to the roots...

So, here I am... Back to powering up my liquid HIVE and pumping up my HivePower!!! And I will probably continue to do this for some time...

So, what is #HivePUD?

Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and it is held every 1st day of a month.

Solid amount of Hive! I'm always curious how the price of Hive plays into going into PUD and how much of an impact it has. Keep on powering up!

I don't think that it can move the price a lot... I remember how it was when I joined for the first time and there were a lot more people participating... Or, it was more the question of less "moving" liquid Hive (Steem before) and you could see the difference from HivePUD... Not sure how it's doing these days, but I'm sure there will be stats about it in a few days... ;)

300 HIVE in my opinion is a lot. I did cash out some HBD when it pumped last night but I think I might just do the minimum for the achievement then put the rest into dividend tokens. That Cublife token might be a good choice.

I'm waiting for HIVE to hit $1 to cash out some... Not too much, but still to have some feeling of buying groceries from crypto :) :)
Until then, I'm exchanging my HBD to HIVE... ;)
