Appics' move to Telos, why?
Appics, the "Instagram" of Steemit, moves to Telos
I still blog on Steemit, but actually only via the front-ends of Actifit and Appics. And Appics is kind of fun, because I like taking photos, and via Appics it is very easy to post and get rewarded for it. I currently have around 7750 APX tokens. All earned through posting on Appics. Consequently I earn some Steem with it too, but that is just some collateral earnings. It is mostly about Appics.
Now here comes my dilemma, Appics is about to move to Telos. Another blockchain I know nothing about. I have no clue what the difference is with Steem, or Hive, or Ethereum or Bitcoin, you name it.
So, now I ask the Leofinance community, what is Telos? Is it a smart move by Appics to move to Telos and why are they doing it? Is it going to affect the price of APX in a good way?
Sincerely,

I think the only good way is to address these questions to APPICS devs.
Has the transition date been already announced?
I'm on APPICS too.
