Baseball Oakland A's accepting BTC for Season Tickets!

Since many people will likely be talking about Visa's acceptance of stable token USDC I would now like to focus on another crypto adoption story that broke today. The Major League Baseball Team Oakland Athletics are currently advertising 10 luxury suites used in the upcoming season for the cost of 1 BTC per suite.

That is right 1 BTC for an entire season for to have the suite and the suite can house up to 6 people. The price of BTC will not matter since A's are focused on actually holding the crypto. In the future they may accept other cryptos but for now only BTC.

This is on top of early adoption from other major league teams.

In early March, the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks added Dogecoin to its line of supported cryptocurrencies following initial crypto support in 2019. Earlier, the NFL’s Miami Dolphins partnered with the Litecoin Foundation to partially accept LTC. The NBA’s Sacramento Kings were one of the earliest to accept cryptocurrency in 2014.

In regards to Oakland's BTC for suites it has been in the news for almost two weeks but recently it is close to sealing the deal to a couple of perspective buyers.
