Black and Brown Modern Urban Outfit Recommendations Youtube Thumbnail (49).png

Hello guys this is Splinterlands social media challenge post and most welcome here. So here I am going to share three ways to choose sprinterlands cards to buy which can give you a better return in the future. Splinterland is not just for the players but also investors can invest and earn in different ways. buying cards and giving them on rent is another way to earn Crypto so if you are coming in this category then this post is for you read this post till the last paragraph.

Card Abilities And Attributes

Whenever you choose a card for buying and your purpose is to earn a good amount of rent and also get a good return in the future then you must check these things. If you are a player then you know the powerful abilities but if you are not a player then you have to learn the abilities and play just for the learning purpose so that you can understand the abilities because when you know the abilities usage then it will be better for you to pick the cards and same goes with attributes.

So let’s say there is any monster with good attributes and also that monster has powerful abilities then there is more chance that particular monster will increase in price or it is already increased but if that card is new then in the future it will have a more chance to rise in price. I want to give you an example of Ruler of the Seas. ruler of the Seas is a very powerful card when I bought that card the price was around $3 and when you check the current price of that particular monster now then it’s 1 BCX price is $22 and also there are a very limited amount of cards available.

So that’s how attributes and abilities play a major role in the card price. These things are the usecases of card and that is the reason it determines the price of the card in the market because these things increase the demand of the card so that is why you have to choose cards with good attributes and abilities.

Card Age

In price, the card age matters a lot not always but in most cases. Because as the age of the card increases, its value also increases. Let me give you the example of Bitcoin, bitcoin is now 15 years old and in the beginning, the price was very low and according to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin's lowest recorded price was $0.04865 on 14 July, 2010. Now check the current price it is more than 70k USD can you believe that?

However, this is not going to happen in every case because multiple factors work such as supply and demand, use cases, and adoption. Now when it comes to Sprinterlands cards then these cards have a limited supply which means when the card is new, the prices are low and as the card becomes older the price will increase so the age factor works in Splinterlands cards because these cards are limited and also these cards have better use cases in the game and that is why age factor matter here.

So now whenever you choose the card for buying you have to see these 2 two factors before buying so I hope you understand what I’m saying if you have something to say or something to add to this information then the comment section is open for you now I am ending this article please share this post using #splinterlands and #play2earn tags. new users join splinterlands under me the referral link is below.

hmmm im not sure if bitcoin was the best comparison. you probably could mention things like pokemon or yugioh tcg O.O since it's probably more related in a way

There was an example not a comparison. Thank you for stopping by Shawn. 😇

o.o then it wasn't really the best example. You're talking about card age then you are using bitcoin as an example?

Crypto will be compared with crypto not human.

Bitcoin has aged so I can take Bitcoin as an example. Otherside Splinterlands is also an older platform. So ways for both were similar.

Do not see it with a valuation vision otherwise, you will find it a bad example. lol.

you just said it wasn't a comparison but here you say you are comparing crypto with crypto.

then with how you said things . then wouldn't pokemon or yugioh be a better example. they also aged. They are both similar in the sense of ownership and TCG. just that they are physical and splinterlands is digital and on blockchain

A lot of people compare gold with btc. its not crypto and crypto.

I'm just trying to understand the reasoning of using btc price appreciation as an example for price appreciation of Splinterland cards due to "card age". if that's making it more clear

Get the point bro, an NFT with limited supply and good use cases will rise in price.

bitcoin is not an nft though.

You can say that about most things though with limited supply physical cards as well. Those first edition packs of pokemon with charizard are going for 2k + for psa10. You're failing to prove your point lol

Show me a sentence where I said Bitcoin is NFT.

There is nothing to compare with Pokemon. You can't compare Web 2.0 with Web 3.0. You can't compare normal games with blockchain games. 😆

You didn't. I just assumed so when you used btc as an example for aging of cards😅

That's fair but how does that make btc a good example in your post. You're using the father of crypto, something people regard as a store of value and digital gold to use as an example for cards gaining in price because of their age?

. You're using the father of crypto,

That's what I said, do not take this example in valuation because splinterlands is nothing in front of Bitcoin. understand the age factor pattern, Supply, and utility. 🙂

you just said it wasn't a comparison but here you say you are comparing crypto with crypto.

Because you said that it was a comparison that is why I said in that way. Anyway let me say it again in my way:

"The example of crypto is given from crypto itself."

The second thing both Pokemon and Yugioh are not blockchain games so there is no sense of comparing them with Splinterlands. splinterlands game's cards are not simple cards but they are NFTs.

A lot of people compare gold with BTC. it's not crypto and crypto.

Both are assets and some things are similar between Bitcoin and gold which is why people give 'gold' as an example

I'm just trying to understand the reasoning of using btc price appreciation as an example for price appreciation of Splinterland cards due to "card age". if that's making it more clear

Check the ruler of the seas price 5 years ago and now , you will understand my example.

Yes exactly. Here you are bringing up a good example. I'm trying to understand why you didn't you use this as the example in the section where you talk about cards aging and rising in value. In the post you talked about btc instead as an example

This is the part I'm not understanding. You go from card age to bitcoin. I'm not trying to argue with you by the way. I'm just trying to understand >.>

I'm referring to this paragraph

It's simple ... just buy a new card with good abilities and attributes and hold it for a year or 2 years, and you will understand my view.
