The Weekly LBI Contest

Much later than usual… But here we are again with the weekly LBI Contest.

Change in the prices you can win. Now it's 5 LBI by default

This week I'm going to start with a change in the contest. Previously it was always the case that you could choose a price yourself. Most people already chose LBI, and I passed the winner every week via DM to @silverstackeruk. Now, of course, he also has an offline life. And so it sometimes happened that he missed my message, or saw it, but got distracted, and forgot to actually send the prize because of the other things he had to do online. This has already led to comments in the past from people who feared they wouldn't get their prize. Of course, that's not the point of a contest. So @silverstackeruk and I have decided in consultation to make the prize to be won in this weekly contest just 5 LBI by default. And from this week I can send the winner that prize myself.

As of today, no more boxes to choose from. But a standard price! That's a change that you may have to get used to. But also a logical change. After all, it is the weekly LBI contest.

Last week was about ALGO

That said, we'll go straight to the last contest. You guys have been trying to predict the price of ALGORAND last week… and like any crypto, ALGO has seen some severe dips too. Let just last Friday have been such a dip moment.

It makes sense when you consider that Bitcoin still seems to be stuck between USD 30,000 and USD 35,000. Are you also curious when Bitcoin will rise above this again? Or do you expect us to be stuck in this price range for a long time to come?

Anyway… I checked Coinmarketcap and the price of 1 ALGO was last Friday 9th July at noon was $0.8943

The winner was very close with his prediction of $0.893
