The thing with the newbie friendly stuff is that you have to know about them as a newbie :D
I wasn't aware I should make an intro post when I came here and so I had a really hard time with my content for a while. I was used to thousands of views from Publish0x. On Hive, I got like 5 votes per post. But you are right, there's a lot of help for newbies out there - it's just about finding each other ;-)

i think regarding the views on publish, it's not from unique users, if you refresh the page or go to your profile i think it adds up

That's correct, but the payout adds up as well ;-)

As opposed to LeoFinance, Publish0x is not scalable and you'll never see these >20$ payouts there, but the earning is still really decent if you can make it to Popular on a regular basis...
