Week 1 of 52: A Good Start!

Already a week into the brand new year and the holiday mood is still in the air but it's time to get things going before Mr. P takes charge. We wouldn't like that because we'd be in trouble if he did.😅

Joking aside, I believe most of us have set some things that want to work on in the next 12 months. We call them our goals, personal roadmap, or whatever we term them, but we mean the same thing - growth. They are a guide to where we want to be at the end of the year, may it be in terms of stakes, crypto portfolio, finances, and personal improvements.

Speaking of which, here is my first-week update on the specific objective that I have indicated in the Saturday Savers Club challenge. These are the targets that I intend to check off within the year - mainly here on Hive. I do have other things that I also want to accomplish off-chain and in real life but will keep them to myself for now.😊

1️⃣Hive Power

End of Year Target: 23,000 HP
Current: 16,615 HP
To Go: 6,385 HP

For this first week, 215 HP was added which when calculated is just a 1.30% growth. I realize that it is more challenging to grow an account once it is above 10k but since I am intentional, it doesn't even matter how much percentage the increase is. The important thing is the consistency in doing it. At the end of the day, even small amounts add up.

Per Hivestats, my author and curation rewards during the week were 167.48 HP and 23.56 HP respectively. That is already quite nice for me considering that I do things at my own pace and time.

Of course, we know that as the stake HIVE grows, the curation will also increase and I look forward to the day when my 100% upvote (at 100% vote mana) will be equal to 1 full HIVE. That will take a long while but I just can't help imagining how it feels when that day arrives.

2️⃣Leo Power

End of Year Target: 33k
Current: 26,186 LP
To Go: 6,814 LP

Just a small addition of 36 LEO in the first week. I'm still thinking about the frequency of staking - either to stake a fixed amount of LEO (both accounts) each day or just randomly. Should I buy from the market or stick to whatever comes? No definite plan yet on how to go about it but will probably come up with something soon. The basic idea is to stake each day and also participate in the LPUD every 15th of the month.

3️⃣HBD Savings

End of Year Target: 1,030 HBD
Current: 522 HBD
To Go: 508

Saving 1 HBD a day as a start which accounts for just about 1.36% growth. It may be increased in the next few months or weeks depending on circumstances. For the time being, I'm going to play conservatively since I also want to accumulate some liquid HIVE for my daily staking and to take advantage of any pumps. The market will always play some tricks and it will be good to have something when it gets favorable.

The Hive Drip tokens you should check out its a 150% APR the only thing is you need to constantly re stake your earnings everyday to achieve the 150% APR. I hold a few myself
