Splinterlands has been on my mind and in my daily tasks a lot lately. To the point that I neglect posting on my account much, and when I do, one in every two or three posts is about the blockchain game that many FOMOed into lately.

If you are not interested in the topic, I'm sorry about the avalanche of posts on this subject on my part. Please understand... and move on to the next post.

Splintershards (SPS) on Binance Smart Chain

Yesterday was the launch of the Splintershards (SPS) token on Binance Smart Chain. It was listed on PancakeSwap, which is the biggest defi platform on BSC.

I would follow Splinterlands discord official channel closely (maybe the other channels too, like their official twitter account), because announcements are coming in a rapid succession.

Also yesterday (or maybe the day before?), the SPS Management page was added to the Splinterlands website:

A few days earlier, the SPS token was listed on the CoinMarketCap website. Not as SPS or Splintershards, but as Splinterlands, which is probably better for branding and marketing purposes.

Also, two days ago, SPS was listed on gate.io, including two pairs: SPS-USDT and SPS-ETH.

Today we already had two events related to the SPS token. The launch of the SPS-BNB farm and the SPS Syrup Pool on PancakeSwap.

At the time of writing, the syrup pool had a little over 500k USD worth of CAKE in it and still over 700% APR. Staking CAKE, earning SPS. I entered that with the little CAKE I had, after I pulled it out of the Cub Kingdom, temporarily.

The SPS-BNB farm has almost 900k USD in its liquidity pool and still paying 870% as I type this. This will have a CAKE multiplier of x1 during the first 48 hours after launch and 0.5x multiplier afterwards.

What Next? Airdrop! Brawls 2.0 Coming Too.

And we haven't even got to the main event of the day, I suppose, which is the first day airdrop (which will happen daily at noon ET / 16.00 UTC for one year).

With the launch of the SPS token and the coming daily airdrops and the FOMO that made every early-ish investor happy, does anyone have room for more excitement?

Well, if you followed the latest updates of @cryptomancer about Splinterlands Brawls 2.0, you have every reason to be more excited. I am at least.

I believe when it was first hinted, Matt was one of the few who truly envisioned what this will become and how huge it will be for Splinterlands. Many were not happy that the land expansion has been postponed to make room to SPS first. By how things look now, seems like the decision was justified and everyone has reasons to be excited.
