What The Heck Is Proof Of Brain? [Presentation]

Everyone on Hive & LeoFinance is going bonkers about the new Proof of Brain Tribe (POB) including me. Why?

  1. Price of the Token and its performance since its inception. 🤑
  2. It's unique tokenomics, inspired from good bits of Bitcoin, Hive & Leo. 😎

Everyone wants a piece of it and one should join the party ASAP. It's an interesting fusion experiment and I am excited to see where this will go in 2-3 years from now.

It's time we should amplify PoB to other tribes and outside of HIVE. So, I did what I do best. I did some research in the last couple of days and created this presentation for noobs like myself who did not know anything about Proof of Brain and where did it come from? What are its advantages? Why PoB Token is a great portfolio addition? etc. etc. I am not exactly answering those questions in detail, but this should give you enough info the get started.

Some tribe really started out really well and of course are currently doing badly. The truth is, the vibe with POB started out good especially as people are excited as the prices, hopefully people would rather have a hodl mentality rather than selling off everything.

I agree with you buddy! HODL mentality would take us quite far in the crypto space. We have seen time and again how these things turn their course overnight and start growing exponentially. I am really excited about PoB because of its interesting tokenoimics. Thanks to PoB's high demand & less supply, the high price is no surprise to me.

This tribe is booming from day one.

Good presentation. I just wish people weren't as fixated over the price of the token. It also fits my assumption that it is a general tag because I haven't seen any limitations on the type of content.

For sure! I have been here long enough to know that some opportunities windows stay open for a moment, others for years... at this stage I am just thankful to be where there is constant opportunity. I'm hoping to see some Hive projects do a moon landing this year.

Nice... A one page infograph would be good for marketing and promotion. Especially for folks who aren't familiar with Hive at all. Twitter and Facebook promos for it to get the masses in.

I think for folks on the outside, the important bits are that it is free to join, free to earn rewards, no censorship etc.

Lot of talented writers on channels like #WritingCommunity looking for a place to promote their content.

Hey @leprechaun, Thank you so much for stopping by. Sorry for not clarifying this properly in the slide itself. 😊

Until slide 4 I was explaining PoB Mechanism & DPoS w.r.t Steem & Hive. Where rewards pool is used to incentivize all the human parties involved i.e. creators, curators & witnesses for their respective contributions. The community decides who will get what.

W.r.t PoB token, since it's 100% Proof of Brain and built on Layer 2 on Hive, there are no witnesses. Only creators & curators. We are not choosing witnesses here to validate blocks for us since it's being already done through the base Layer (call it Layer 1 or Hive).

This is how I understand the whole system as per my findings. Please correct me if you think this doesn't make sense.

I think it's a layer 2 as you do. It is a unique kind of layer 2 as it keeps all the data onchain.
