Honey Pot Detective

Using and following delivery trucks can lead you to hidden honey pots.

This morning I had another appointment with a new client and always meet anyone with an open mind. The business is not a money spinner by any means as what they use is minimal but I was more there to see if he had any other leads I could pick up on.

The bad news he didn't but the good news whilst looking for his company in the middle of an industrial area I stumbled upon a delivery of a small truck delivering roughly 1000 rolls of pallet wrap. I normally don't follow trucks, but hey these are special times and call for desperate measures.

I didn't have to follow the vehicle for too long and within 10 minutes they arrived at a business with a sign that you would never guess would use this material. Security wouldn't let me in but I managed to get the name of the business and a contact number. This is not the first time I have done this type of thing and maybe I should spend a few days following my competition seeing where they lead me. There is nothing else happening right now so not a bad idea and at least it is something positive and one never knows.

Like everything else they are not seeing suppliers right now and if I would please contact them in February. Not a dead end and still a positive yet it feels as though everything is on hold until February. Super frustrating I know but what can you do this is the reality we are living in right now.

This was a n area I have never been to be for and actually took a count of the businesses that had vanished. The road had some big companies taking up loads of frontage so whoever was there was a decent sized company. There were 46 companies in this road and of which there are 32 operating and open today. This is prime industrial land and 14 are no longer with us which is a telling sign.

Many of the companies were steel and mining supply companies providing various sspecialised services. The client I met this morning are a German based company supplying equipment to various mines. luckily mining is seen as an essential business so they have kept their client base intact yet mentioned they are doing only 25% of the business they once were.

These are pretty scary statistics and mentioned they expect things to only start coming right towards June/July next year. This was not something I wanted to hear right now as keeping a smile and staying positive is testing me to my limits. Everything I am doing now is not for now and for later which I can live with. The bank account will just have to behave for a few more months as I can't just print money right now.

It looks like Hive is the only real positive thing happening right now along with Leo as the real world is kind of screwed. At least on here you feel as though you are accomplishing something as everyday you are growing just by staying active. I would never have thought that this would be my only option for any type of financial growth in March yet that is the reality. Fortunately I am not taking anything out as I would rather flip burgers than sell any crypto.

I don't mind my work and I am glad that I still have work to do but let me tell you the motivation to do it wanes, I would much rather mess around on HIVE all day and trade cryptos but here we are part timers trying to keep the dream alive.

It does wane and I am struggling to carry on sometimes but I know I have to. If you stay positive then things happen not always good but normally they are. messing around on Hive all day if we have $100 votes yes as that would be really cool. Have to wait though and at some point maybe it is our only option to make money.

That February date really sucks that everyone is pushing things back to. It would be cool if you could get some kind of in-road before then, but I guess everyone is pretty much shut down. Haven't they ever heard of video conferencing though? If they can hold a court trial via Google Meet, why can't you do a business deal...

I wouldn't be comfortable as I like to read body language as I sell myself. Would rather wait for a face to face same room scenario than that. It is a gamble I refuse to do. Once they know me then I am cool with that and would recommend it. Beats getting in the car and that means I could live on a tropical island and still work.

I guess that makes sense. I say a ton with my face so you would probably still be good via web conference :)
