Freewrite on the topic WAX

Hi friends. I want to share some thoughts about WAX. This post will be difficult to call freerite, due to the presence of a specific topic. On the other hand, my idea of WAX and the projects that appear on it is so superficial that it should not be taken more seriously than a banal freewrite article.

In my imagination, WAX is a platform created specifically for applications focused on NFT. As far as I understand, WAX is a modified ERC-20 token for something similar to EOS, I'm not a big expert on technical issues so this may be inaccurate information. For almost a week, I studied from the middle one of the earning opportunities in the NFT markets (https://wax.atomichub.io/) based on the WAX blockchain. This opportunity is a kind of hunting for "drops" of new cards of well-known collections, which due to the ability to bring dividends can be resold on the secondary market much more expensive.

What I managed to understand:

  • It is difficult to find censorship words to describe how time- and energy-intensive the process of tracking current drops is.
  • Indeed, 100% profitable drops appear very rarely, and those that can bring an increase in assets several times no more than 1-2 times a week.
  • Constant updating and participation in some projects based on WAX (Alien Worlds, Kolobok, craft on R-planet) strongly resembles digital masturbation, which simply wastes time.
  • NFT drops and R-planet stacking cards are the things that are part of my daily routine and make me think - where to take time for them, and how to fit them into my usual schedule/routine?
  • Involvement of users in various projects, both the user and the HIVE enthusiast, causes some envy.
  • It is better to write a separate message about the comparison of features (conveniences) of WAX and HIVE.

And finally, the final thought: The example of WAX demonstrates how important a role marketing plays in the promotion of a project. I think it is because of the significant marketing advantage that WAX ranks higher in the cryptocurrency rankings in terms of capitalization than technically much more powerful blockchains like the same HIVE.

That's a good point. I don't get my cpu-amount keeps increasing even when I don't do anything on wax
