Four months after the creation of "Initiative 10", the effects are very positive and the numbers prove it
One of the things I love about LeoFinance is the form of interaction we have in the community, who has been here for a long time (years), knows very well that before it was very difficult for you to have some kind of interaction with your readers on your blog .
I remember very well how most of the time it happened, people were more concerned with how much they would earn and not the "value" that that article could add to people, it was something very difficult to see any post with quality comments that complemented the post.
When there were some comments, it was something of the artificial type, like "I liked it", "thanks for sharing" or any other type of spam. Times passed and changed for the tribes, tokenized second-tier communities began to exist and the niches were divided in a more organized way.
LeoFinance is today an excellent example of transformation, with the recent launches of tools and projects such as LP and the implementation of wLEO, the LEO community was increasingly in evidence for hivers and outside Hive.
Some LEO initiatives were needed so that this growing number of new users coming from the ETH platform could find when they arrived here, a place of great prosperity. In order to encourage more engagement, commenting would be the ideal way for us in the community.
Initiative 10
Many lions here dedicate themselves every day to make LeoFinance a place for everyone and for new users to feel welcomed as a family. I have never seen in my 3.5 years a community that supports its authors.
Our friend @taskmaster4450le, seeing that this path was already taking its first steps, wanted to launch an idea or better said, an initiative. The name is suggestive and the curious thing is that some lions may not even know that what really stimulated them was this "project".
Initiative 10 is quite simple, you dedicate yourself to comment at least 10 comments per day, do you think you can do more than that? Excellent! There is no limit to engagement and LeoFinance, seeing that the community embraced the cause, started presenting very interesting data from the authors who comment on the Leofinance.io front-end and if you always want to follow, it is in the account @leo.stats.
People need to realize that through engagement it may be possible for you to grow even faster in the community. There are authors who prefer not to post on LeoFinance for some reasons like the niche, they might not feel safe talking about finance, but know that if you are here you are very likely to be able to post on cryptocurrencies for example.
After the Task post, I promised that I would dedicate myself even more, because for me it is always a pleasure to help the community that supports it. For you to be aware of how much an initiative is capable of doing, know that the post, was made on October 26th, we practically have 4 months and the numbers are very expressive.
Notice how curious, it is precisely from October that we started to have a significant increase in comments made on LeoFinance.io. To have an idea of how much this results, about 7,900 comments were made in the last week. There are over 1,000 comments per day and of course, we can achieve even more.
I myself was 9th with 157 comments in the last week, my average was 22 comments and detail, I had to go 3 days without commenting due to personal problems, but everything has been solved. If there was no such problem, my numbers would be much higher.
I invite everyone to follow the @leomarkettalk account created by Task to be a meeting place for all of us lions. In Leo Talk 2/24/2021 - Come and participate in our chat, we can talk about anything there and you know the coolest thing? If you sometimes find it difficult to create a post due to lack of inspiration, I'm sure you'll find what you need there.
"But what do I get out of it?" That's probably what you're asking yourself, well ... did you know that we curators always vote not only on the longest posts, but also on comments. There are authors who prefer to make small comments rather than create an article and manage to obtain significant gains.
It also has the advantage of being seen, being noticed, because that's how I was able to grow in the LeoFinance community, without the very likely engagement I wouldn't be here.
So if there is a possibility to obtain LEO through comments and win another cycle of friendships bringing more engagement and activities to LeoFinance, what are you waiting for? Come be a part of it and let's make history! Now start to be another lion to comment.
Uma das coisas que gosto muito na LeoFinance é a forma de interação que temos na comunidade, quem está aqui há um bom tempo (anos), sabe muito bem que antes era bem difícil você ter algum tipo de interação com os seus leitores no seu blog.
Eu lembro muito bem como a maioria das vezes acontecia, as pessoas se preocupavam mais em quanto iriam ganhar e não no "valor" que aquele artigo pudesse agregar para as pessoas, era algo bem difícil de ver algum post com comentários de qualidade que complementasse o post.
Quando existia alguns comentários, era algo do tipo artificial, como "gostei", "obrigado por compartilhar" ou qualquer outro tipo de spam. Os tempos passaram e mudaram para as tribos, começou a existir comunidades tokenizadas de segunda camada e os nichos foram divididos de forma mais organizada.
A LeoFinance é hoje um excelente exemplo de transformação, com os recentes lançamentos de ferramentas e projetos como LP e a implementação do wLEO, cada vez mais a comunidade LEO estava em evidência para os hivers e fora do Hive.
Era preciso algumas iniciativas LEO para que esse crescente número de novos usuários vindo da plataforma ETH pudessem encontrar quando chegassem aqui, um lugar de muita prosperidade. Para que pudesse ser estimulado mais engajamento, o comentário seria a maneira ideal para nós na comunidade.
Iniciativa 10
Muitos leões aqui se dedicam todos os dias para que a LeoFinance seja um lugar de todos e que os novos usuários se sintam acolhidos como família. Nunca tinha visto em todos os meus 3.5 anos uma comunidade que apoia os seus autores.
O nosso amigo @taskmaster4450le, vendo que esse caminho já estava tendo os primeiros passos, quis lançar uma ideia ou melhor dizendo, uma iniciativa. O nome é sugestivo e o curioso é que alguns leões talvez nem saibam que o que estimularam eles foi na verdade esse "projeto".
A Iniciativa 10 é bastante simples, é você se dedicar em comentar pelo menos 10 comentários por dia, você acha que consegue fazer mais do que isso? Ótimo! Não existe limites para o engajamento e a LeoFinance, vendo que a comunidade abraçou a causa, começou a apresentar dados muito interessantes dos autores que comentam no front-end da Leofinance.io e caso queira sempre acompanhar, é na conta @leo.stats.
As pessoas precisam perceber que através do engajamento poderá ser possível você crescer ainda mais rápido na comunidade. Existem autores que preferem não postar na LeoFinance por alguns motivos como o nicho, talvez não se sentiriam seguros em falar sobre finanças, mas saiba que se você está aqui é bem provável que está apto para postar sobre criptomoedas por exemplo.
Após o post de Task, eu prometi que eu iria me dedicar ainda mais, pois para mim é sempre um prazer em ajudar a comunidade que apoia. Para vocês terem noção do quanto que uma iniciativa é capaz de fazer, saiba que o post foi feito em 26 de outubro, praticamente temos 4 meses e os números são muito expressivos.
Observe que curioso, é justamente a partir de outubro que nós começamos a ter um aumento significativo de comentários feitos no LeoFinance.io. Para ter ideia do quanto isso resulta, foram feitos cerca de 7,9 mil comentários na última semana. São mais de 1 mil comentários por dia e é claro, podemos alcançar ainda mais.
Eu mesmo fiquei em 9º com 157 comentários na ultima semana, minha média ficou em 22 comentários e detalhe, tive que ficar 3 dias sem comentar por questões de problemas pessoais, mas tudo já foi resolvido. Caso não houvesse esse problema, meus números seriam bem maiores.

"Mas o que eu ganho com isso?" Provavelmente é o que você deve está se perguntando, bem... você sabia que nós curadores sempre votamos não apenas nos posts mais longos, mas também em comentários. Existem autores que preferem mais fazer pequenos comentários do que criar um artigo e conseguem obter ganhos significativos.
Também tem a vantagem de você ser visto, ser notado, pois foi assim que eu pude crescer na comunidade LeoFinance, sem o engajamento muito provável eu não estaria aqui.

Engagement is vital. Can you imagine if another 100 people joining in the initiative and we had 2,000 comments a day just coming from Leofinance. That would really be making a statement. Of course, we all believe that projectblank will put forth numbers that make all this look minute.

I can imagine it and it would be something incredible. The numbers become impressive when there is a significant increase in more people doing their part to engage.
I have no doubt that ProjectBlank will reach levels well above those we know today.

Yes engagement is good for the entire community. I am trying for Initiative 50 and I think I can only get that so far through the LeoMarketTalk thread though. I wonder if the new microblogging will decrease comments by a decent amount on LeoFinance or not.

I'm also curious about this and I can't say anything for sure but I hope that with the release it will not negatively affect Leofinance.io as they will be two different things.

Cool! I've been trying to be more and more engaged in commenting lately but I wasn't aware of this initiative so I didn't have a specific goal in mind.
Now I know about it I'll try to keep track of my daily post count and contribute to it.
