Why would Dorsey want a decentralized platform when he built his empire on Twitter?
Obviously a decentralized social media would not produce as much profit as Twitter

It is akin to talk by CEOs about social responsibility and environmental issues. They could give a crap. It is all lip service to appear like they stand for a cause that people are interested in. They do not.
Dorsey no more cares about this than the does about giving Trump full access to Twitter. It is just lines to appease people while Twitter keeps compiling more data on users.
