Bozzlife: Staking for the Future
I made some big moves yesterday with my Hive account and on LeoDex. It may not seem like a lot compared to some of the larger accounts on here, but for me, they represent a pretty significant investment. While only one of them falls in line with my long term goals, I think they are going to help set me up for some great passive income down the road.
Let's take a second to recap my longer term goals that I set in place towards the end of last year. With things changing so rapidly every day in crypto, I think it is important to revisit these goals quite frequently.
The first goal was to get to 25,000 Hive power, the second goal was to get to 2000 LBI, and the third goal which I know is a moon shot is getting to 5000 LEO Power. All of these goals I hoped to accomplish by the middle of the year.
Needless to say, the LBI goal I have fully achieved. I made sure I got to that point before the price went up at the end of January. Check that one off my list!
Now for the other two and what moves I made yesterday:
Remember I said that only one of them falls in line with my long term goals? Well that one just happens to be my Hive goal.
I went to the market with the 20 HBI that was sitting in my account and turned that into just about 137 Hive.
On top of that, I started the final power down from my Steem curation account a couple of weeks ago. I took some of that Steem and converted it to EOS so I could purchase some TLOS. The rest I swapped to Hive which gave me just about 690 Hive.
With a total of right around 825 liquid Hive, I powered up 660 of it putting my HP at 23,600, well on my way to my 25,000 target. I should easily be there before the middle of the year. In fact, I am going to adjust that goal to 30,000 HP by the middle of the year now.
My LEO goal I am slowly adding to each day with my post and curation rewards, so no big movement there. At this time the price of LEO is so high it didn't feel it made sense to buy more.
So what did I do with that other 165 Hive? Remember, I mentioned LeoDex earlier...
I took about 60 of it and purchased 50 more CTPMiners to bring my staked total to 200. Then I took the other 100 and purchased about 250 DHEDGE tokens to bring my total holdings to 400 DHEDGE. That left me with just about 7 SWAP-HIVE left that I am just leaving liquid until I can get some more in there to put towards some more investments.
You might think I was finished at that point, but not quite yet. I had two more things that I needed to take care of.
In one final move, I jumped back over to my delegations and I increased my delegation to @leo.voter from 300 to 1000 HP and I bumped my delegation to @dlux-io from 800 to 3000 HP.
I figured the bump to Leo Voter was a good way to increase my Leo without actually having to purchase Leo. The D-Lux is something I have been delegating to for maybe month now. I think it is a really great project that has a lot of potential. I have enjoyed reading @disregardfiat's thoughts and plans in the Leo Discord server, so I felt more than obliged to donate some support. Of course the fact that I get DLux tokens is just an additional perk!
So there you go. All of that may end up being the most exciting thing I did all week!

Sounds more like a Bo$$ move than a bozz move! I've shifted some delegations around and happy with the positions I have on the H-E side. Just going to let the miners, delegations and stake get to some work and still keep some HP back to give some meaningful upvotes and encouragement to new joiners. Stake n bake!
Thanks, you too! Yeah, I was on the fence about delegating out even more HP, but my curation rewards have been pretty decent lately, so I don't want to sacrifice that too much.

Man.. You were making some moves!! Nice work. Not to mention the time that it takes to figure it all out and make those said moves. Congrats on reaching one of your goals and reaching for the next.. EVEN raising the bar a little. It's fun.. isn't it?!
Didn't know about the passive LEO that could be earned by delegating HP. That I was unaware of. I may have to look into that since I don't write much worthy of posting to Leofinance. Thanks for the Info!
You have to delegate quite a bit for it to equal a full Leo each day, but it all adds up. That DLux token could become really valuable if the proposal ever gets voted through.

Cool move! This is a massive overhaul of tokens and on a good step to reach the target you set. LEO will come definitely easy till mid of year as you are one of the most active persons in here.
