As you know, we made a stop in Romania, in the yard in 1964.

Just like today, people loved to spend weekends with children, interacting with nature.

Probably the only place where children could see exotic animals was the zoo.

A series of stamps Bucharest Zoo, issued in Romania in 1964, shows us the inhabitants of the Zoological Park of the city of Bucharest.

If you don't know, Bucharest is the capital of Romania.

On another 55 Romanian ban postage stamp, we see the mighty animal Tiger (Panthera tigris).

In childhood we argued who is stronger - the tiger, or the lion?

Tigers are more like a cat. I remember one article in an old, Soviet magazine, where it was said that supposedly lions, in their relationship, are close to dogs. It sounds strange, but there is a lot that we do not know and it is pointless to deny such a possibility.

It is like the debate about a spherical and flat earth.

Tigers are gradually disappearing from our planet. Ironically, these hunters have become human prey.

The highly prized striped hide in the market has played a trick on this cat.

Although I am not a supporter of zoos, perhaps zoos are the only way to keep fur hunters out.
