Today, I would like to present to you a postage stamp from the "Sport" series, issued in the Republic of Senegal in 1961.

This postage stamp is dedicated to rowing, or rather pie racing.
You don't need to arm your eyes with a monocular to see what colossal structures, these boats, or pies.

At that time, everyone could take part in the competition.

Usually, such a pie boat belonged to a separate tribe.

Imagine for a moment that you, today, decided to take part in such a competition and found like-minded people who are ready, together with you, to get into the boat and take the oars in their hands.

But, this is only part of the story. Where can I get a boat - pirogue?

It needs to be built.
