My Hive Goals for 2021 - First weekly status update

I have been sharing my goals for a long time. But today I read a lot of articles where people were sharing their Hive goals with a weekly progress update. I thought it will be a good idea and why not start it from today. This is going to be such a post where I'm planning to share my Hive goals and my progress towards the goal every week.

I'm already sharing my monthly stats from Hive as well as other platforms but I did not set any concrete goal as such and work towards that. I know I'm very active and have been involving myself in many communities and tribes but setting a goal is something that is going to help long term for sure as I can see progress happening which would push me really hard towards that.

Goals

The goals that I'm going to be setting are not only going to be for Hive and Hive Engine tokens but also for all the types of investments I'm planning to make before this year for my growth on Hive. Let's get started. I will share the goals one by one and my current status towards the end of this article.

25,000 Hive Power

Let's start with 25,000 Hive power. This is the first goal that I'm going to set for myself. This is not a very big number or a difficult number to achieve. If I keep my writing consistent, I believe reaching this goal should be easier. I have been participating in Hive Power Up day every month and so far I have kept it as only 100 Hive every month. I'm not going to push myself very hard but I will try to increase the power up I do every month to reach the goal sooner. I currently have a total of 23,132 Hive power and from what I have observed, on average, I get around 500 Hive Power every month from writing articles or with power-ups. If I push a little, achieving 25,000 Hive power shouldn't be a big deal.

5500 Leo Power

I recently reached 5000 Leo Power and I thought of stopping it there for now and focus on the other tribes. But anyway I will continue to write on Leofinance and there will be gradual earnings happening. So I will set a minimum of 500 Leo Power more to reach towards the end of this year. I hope this should be a realistic value to achieve but let's see how I progress.

I initially thought I should first become a Leo tiger and then start taking the money out to other investments especially CUB finance. This is what I will be doing but increasing my Leo power by 500 Leo should be doable I guess and I will try to do frequent power-ups towards that perspective. I initially set my goal for the year to become a Leo Tiger which is already done for now. But still, I would like to have some goals set for the sake of starting this.

2500 STEM Power

This has been on my radar for a very long time. I hardly write a decent article and post it on the STEM user interface. But recently after I became Leo Tiger, I mostly focus on increasing my STEM stake. This is one of the most interesting tribes on Hive where I can easily relate and fit myself. The tokenomics is also very interesting and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to increase my STEM stake before the end of this year. I currently have 1088 STEM and I have delegated them to the @brofi account for passive BRO income.

2500 CTP Power

Though I use the CTP tag regularly, I don't have any big stakeholder friends from the CTP tribe who upvote my posts. It is a little hard for me to have rapid growth in this tribe. But I will try my best. Right now I'm having a stake of 1941 CTP, I'm going to try and reach 2500 CTP Power before the end of this year. I would either wait to get some decent rewards from my posts, or I will go ahead and purchase some CTP tokens from the market so that I can increase my CTP holdings.

1000 POB stake

Last but not the least, I would also like to grow my POB stake as well. We all would have heard a lot of good things about POB and many big players have already invested so much in the POB tribe because of the good token distribution there. I currently have 230 POB as I write this article and I would like to increase my POB to 1000 before the end of this year. It can be a bit challenging but I will give it a try.

This week's goal status

As I mentioned above, I would like to share where I stand currently with my goal. This is going to be the most exciting part every week, where I calculate how much I have progressed towards my goal. By the way, I would also like to update or add new goals in the coming weeks based on how I progress. Maybe if I complete a goal already, I will try to add a new one.

I'm already getting a good feeling by doing this and I'm going to soon mark each one of them completed and try to add some more to my goals list. I guess every Sunday going forward, I should remember doing this post updating my progress. I'm very excited to complete them sooner and add new goals to the list.
