Are you enjoying the SPS rewards from Splinterlands?

I have a good collection of splinterlands cards but I stopped playing the game a while ago. I did start playing the game again recently on my alt account but have not been very regular in playing the game. Today I was surprised to see everyone talking about the SPS token drop. I have not been following their posts and updates recently which now makes me think that I should stay updated.

Every time Splinterlands comes up with a new thing, it is always creating a big FOMO and I have to admit that all the steps taken by the Splinterlands team have been a success so far. There was a huge pump in the price of DEC last week and I was wondering what made people buy that much DEC. I had very loose hands to sell my DEC for a very cheap rate. It is almost 100% or even more than what I sold it for.

But I think it is okay because what if I had sold it long back before the SPS thing was even there. I would have not had big regrets right. So, I thought in that sense. There are also people who don't even play Splitnerlands in spite of being on Hive. I'm glad that I at least have a good collection of game assets.

Every Splinterlands Asset is jumping in value

I noticed that my card's worth was increasing day by day and I was thinking that it was quite normal because the untamed packs were also sold out recently. After a long time, I checked the worth of my splinterlands assets. I was surprised to see that it had a very nice value.

The above screenshot is from today and I'm able to see that my asset value is almost 10k USD but what is more surprising is, it used to be half of that about 15 days back. Can you imagine your portfolio getting doubled in like 2 weeks' time?

I noticed that I had one Beta pack in one of my alt accounts. I didn't even know that I had but it was contributing 2700 points towards my SPS score. But I was curious to open it and check my luck. I received the below cards. Maybe if I had held them just like that, I would have had a better chance of getting more SPS.

Only now I'm able to realize that I shouldn't be selling any of my splinterlands assets now. Not the cards, not the DEC, and not the packs. Even if I have some packs available for opening, this is not the right time to open them. I have to hold them tight so that I can get a decent reward every day. I'm already glad that the amount of tokens I have been getting per day is already worth more than 50$. Yesterday it was worth around 50 dollars and today it is worth over 80 dollars. I have no clue what I should be doing with these tokens. I see many people selling these tokens and many are buying them like mad for good staking rewards. But I'm sure the price of SPS may not be like this throughout the year.
