Letting Myself Down But Then Turning It Around - Consistency Is The Key To Success

(Edited)

It's now been 3 days since I published my last Leo article, and I feel like I'm letting myself down. I wanted to create an article per day but in the last couple of days, I've been busy with other things. To turn it around, I'm writing the lines you are reading right now:

consistency is the key to success

It's probably one of the most used sayings about being successful. I think it says a lot! Consistency builds habits and habits lead to us doing something. Mastering a skill is only possible if you show up every day and put in the hours. No matter what's happening around, if you want to achieve things, you must stand up when you fall to the ground.

You can't turn your life around by writing once in a while. You have to write consistently in order to thrive! For some, the only quest is to survive but I don't want you to wake up one day realizing you've wasted so much time that could have been used to learn new things.

In other words:

show up every day!

Bees are working every day until the winter comes - then there's long a party for everyone (except males).

Are we like bees?

No. Although we're on HIVE and there are a couple of queens here, we are human beings. And some lions in-between. But if we're being serious, we can learn from bees, they stand up for their hives. If someone dares to attack, bees will sting back sacrificing themselves in order to save their home. They'll also provide for their hive until the last breath.

Who's Attacking Us?

It may seem harsh but I think the main reason we're not going mainstream right now is a complete lack of knowledge about crypto and what it can do. In simple words, it's stupidity. It's no secret that society as a whole is getting dumber with each generation.

“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

-George Carlin

For anyone who's already here on HIVE/Leo or other HIVE projects, it is easy to understand the ecosystem or at least the biggest part of it but for most of the people who are spending their time online, it's too much to comprehend. Especially when there's so much information coming from everywhere you're looking at.

Income in LEO/HIVE and other tokens from the same article? Sounds like a scam!

Feeding The Sheep

When exposing the word about this place, we must do it in bits. Like it's a step by step process. We can't feed all the information in one article because it would make an average person overwhelmed. Like we do it with food, we must have breakfast, supper, and dinner. And in the dessert - success stories of people going all-in on Leo/HIVE.

Being There

As I said before, showing up is one of the most important things when it comes to reaching new heights. If you want to become a part of this rapidly growing community, listen to Nike when they're saying:

Just Do It

LeoFinance is already in the top 100 thousand pages on the internet right now. According to @trumpman and Alexa ranking. Here's his article.

Practicing

The best way to learn something is by doing. Start with something simple like creating an account and reading a few posts. Then if there are things you can relate to, leave a thoughtful comment and your opinion. It's how you'll show you're here, on the blockchain.

Adapting

Spend more time here and naturally, you'll want to introduce yourself to others. Then you'll start reaping rewards because every story matters to the blockchain when it's unique. We're only strong when we stand up for each other and this community is doing it really well.

Thank you for reading! Until the next time we meet!

I wouldn't worry so much about having to make a post everyday, if you're not feeling creative you can just make a lot more comments on that day. Back on steemit I would to try to post everyday and I think people kind of got sick of me. LOL

Yeah, it's good to take a break every once in a while. Commenting is a nice way to stay active without creating articles.

Sometimes a well deserved break comes at hand. It zooms your focus out of the Hive so you can see it better, rather than loosing contact with it. Quite often when I was stubbornly trying to post a number of posts per day I was ending writing articles that I wasn't too excited and happy about, or just simple posts.

It's not hard to explain Hive to people though, but the truth is that not too many are inclined to join it. I've done the advertising part to real persons multiple times, but no one has yet joined. Maybe I'll do it better online, on twitter and youtube.

Yeah, I agree with you! It's better to have multiple things going on so you can switch your focus to a different thing for a while because everyone knows that too much is too much.

Thanks for reading! Have a great week ahead!
