Promoting Hive and Leo on online poker table .

Good evening to everyone . Hope you all are doing good .

I love card games , especially Texas hold'em , I used to play it long ago but took a break from it but now I have started playing it again for an hour or so everyday .

Promoting Hive

There are different kinds of poker players - fish , sharks etc but one thing I can guarantee you about any poker player is - all are in it for money . Poker players love money and they are crazy about freerolls , even I am using the BCH earned from noise.cash to play poker right now .

We were talking about some stuff in the chat room while playing poker and I got to know some of them would like to earn for blogging but what more interesting was - they wanted a platform where they cannot be banned and they can talk anything .

Well what better place for that than Hive ? I explained to them about it .

Here are the screenshots ( Note: I have taken the permission from them to disclose this )

In this pic you can see that I am explaining that on Hive no-one can be banned . ExFeera got confused about whether I was talking about blockchain.poker or Hive at first .

Here you can see Maria stating that " I will suggest it to my friends " - network effect . This is what I expect to happen - you promote Hive and onboard one user , they will bring 2 others and so on .

This is something we all know , I felt really happy to spread the word about Hive who knows the value of freedom of speech .

I forgot to take screenshots and save them where I explained what "Communities" are and what Leofinance is, on Hive .

I got to know that she already had a Hive account but wasn't able to post anymore because of "an" error .

When I digged deep , I got to know it is RC problem . So I delegated some HP to @emstone ( Orsic Maria ) and she told she will continue posting on Hive and bring her friends over .

What next ?

We can sponsor tournaments over there and it will show who sponsored ( with a link ) to everyone who participates so I am thinking of sponsoring a tournament with Leofinance.io as sponsor since it is easier for users to create account via LeoFinance .

We all can do our part to promote this platform

We all know how important freedom of speech is and censorship is a big problem in many countries.

Not only on twitter and FB , we can promote Hive and Leofinance and other platforms anywhere if we wish to do it .

Nice job promoting HIVE. I thought there was an actual HIVE/LEO power application because they would probably jump right on in if they could. But its nice to see more people interested in the blockchain.

That's why I don't play on lower tables anymore . I only play on higher tables since I can play some real poker over there.

Spreading the awareness about hive is very important. I also felt that onboarding is the 2nd biggest issue. It’s very confusing and a lot of people get discouraged during this process.
3rd issue is the knowledge about system and it’s working, a lot of people are confused about various terms like RC. A lot of people would be confused why they are not able to post and when they will be able to post back.

Totally agree with you . RC , downvotes , voting power are totally confusing for new users but are building blocks of Hive .

That is pretty awesome. Hopefully someone explains to them about downvotes just in case it happens. That way they won't get confused and think it is censorship when really they are just getting downvoted. I think a lot of people have a hard time with that. Or separating the two at least.

Not right now but maybe in future . I really wanna play more and more poker though so if I can make something out of it , I will definitely do it . First we should also see how many are interested too I guess. Do you play @successforall ?

The problem with censorship only applies to some countries in EU, such as Germany, France, Austria,Switzerland...I have noticed when I've traveled. For baltic and balkanic ones, the situations is close to ignorance....

Well I don't think that's the case . Here in my country too censorship , resistance freedom of speech is a big problem .

@amr008, I know many countries have limited access to information. It happened to me when I was in France...I couldn't believe I couldn't access the same websites as in my country. Not to talk about Oriental countries, where I found out that censorship is even more drastical.
Have you ever considered relocating? Just a thought.

I don't think I will ever do that. I am more of a "fight the system " kind of guy.
I want to contribute however I can to solve the problem.
