Forbes World's billionaires list 2021 - top 100 data analysis .
Good morning to everyone ,I hope you all are doing good . Yesterday the 35th edition of the World's billionaires list was announced by Forbes . So I thought of doing some data analysis on the top 100 richest people .

World's billionaries list
First of all , this is an annual ranking of highest net worth people around the world compiled and published every year ( usually in March ) by Forbes .
First published - March 1987 .
Current edition - 35 .
The top 100 - data analysis
All the data is taken from the official website of Forbes - https://www.forbes.com/billionaires/
There was not direct way to extract the data , we have to pay to get it in spreadsheet format so I decided to use my data extraction skills to pull data from it .
How many are in top 100 ?
Ofcourse 100 people - WRONG. There are 101 people since Robert Pera and Wu Yajun are tied for the 100th spot since they both have $18.3 B as net worth .

Average age of top 100 richest people ?
- 65.8( rounds to 66)

I am kind of surprised that the 50-70 range is the richest and fully expected the richest to be the oldest. But it makes sense because they are part of the baby boomers.

93 years old billionaires is really exceptional phenomena. Its really remarkable to see their passion and love for money even at this age.
Would be neat if you would use your vote for others than just yourself :)

I agree with you . Most of the people I respect ( who are wealthy ) are very hard working and passionate .

I was surprised there weren't be more younger billionaires.
I'd be interested in seeing how the stats regarding industry, country and age have changed over the years. But, if you had to do all that by hand I imagine it would be too much work. 😁

The problem is , the Forbes doesn't give ready data . If I need data in CSV format , they charge a lot . With great difficulty I managed to get this data hehe.

I actually find that pretty surprising that fashion and retail is right below tech. I would have guessed it would be energy or something like that. Looks like the Russian Oligarchs need to step up their game!

I thought so too . I am surprised to see gambling and casino too , I mean we know it makes huge amount of money but the network of one individual could be that huge ? I didn't know that.
