Supporting DLUX - DeFi on HIVE - Standard Token Architecture with DEX from @disregardfiat
Hi,
yesterday, @taskmaster4450, mentioned in his post that you should check. the development on Hive, which we have to admit is on accelerated base compared to the previous entity. I will not say perfect or something else, just that things are happening and resources are invested into development.
One of the most interesting proposals, that can and should be voted comes from @disregardfiat. I think, this proposal deserves more attention as it is just flying under the radar and in terms of what it brings, a cheap one. If you followed some of the past proposals that have been founded or are founded at the moment you will understand what I'm saying.
What does this proposal do? In short it let's anyone with an Hive account develop it's own side chain and token at a very low cost on a decentralized chain. This is very simplistic said, but it gives value to hold Hive as HP as it will need RC to be fueled. Imagine something like Uniswap without the high ETH fees. Hope that I managed to sum it up without errors.

So, how can we help? Vote the proposal. Basically this is it.
If you have some dev skill, contact @disregardfiat, he might need some voluntary help in this.
There are really cool developments ongoing and this proposal is one of them. Will Hive manage to have a brake through in 2021? I definitely hope so, as there is a lot of going on.

I see that the tipping bot is sustained by @blocktrades, so it must be something valuable to pay 2k HBD/day for 600 days. The whole tipping bot is worth 1200000 HBD. Amazing!

The actual amount they want now is much lower than the amount shown, it's just not possible to edit the proposal amount.
It's not the amount if money. The whole idea with tipping bot is stupid. People are broke, they don't tip. That's why we have voting.
Or maybe is just me stupid.

Not everyone is broke, people like to tip others. It's a way to say thank you and promote investment. It also works surprisingly well for encouraging users to come back to Hive or onboarding.

Bingo. They basically are copying Reddcoin work and say it has cost them 60k of their time.

The Hivetips proposal is a "cut" proposal. It gets deleted once it reaches a milestone. No one is getting millions nor is it going to go on for years. It's set like that to allow it to start and then to get deleted.
There's an update that's coming out for that proposal. The 2020 figures of what was already invested and paid for is around $60k USD. The 2021 are proposed to be similar, although I don't have the exact number on me right now. Integration with mainstream social media platforms is not as easy as it seems and there are also API costs and other incidentals. All the accounting is on chain.
You probably remember from having worked with me how cheap I am. I wouldn't have my name on a proposal (I'm not a monetary recipient of any of the funds) that isn't accounted to the highest standard.
Yes, my bad in here. I know you are one that I can trust and that delivers. I've reread the proposal and the comments and now watched the videos (not a big video fan as reading is much faster and usually to the point)
As a suggestion, the costs have to be put somewhere at the start, as people see directly 1,xx mil HBD for it not the actual costs and the cost break down. I understand that API costs are high.
And yes, you sale yourself cheap compared to others that mostly do the talk but not the work.

You just fucked up by saying you trust. As you said the cost have to be put somewhere at the start.
Me and @guiltyparties know each other for over 3 years and his conduct was always top. We had some common points and his work ethic is exemplary. If 10% of the people in here would be like him, Hive would be again a top5 coin (Steem was on 3 on coinmarketcap).
From cost point of view, he did not suck up the funds as many of the hive founders that pose as nuns at the moment.

But that is what you left Steem for... wasn't it?
I didn't leave steem. I was just naive and listen to the wrong people and sell steem for hive at the lowest price. Steem still doing fine as I can see.
