The LeoFinance Engagement Table
The table is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Any account that made a comment on leofinance.io earned a score, but only the top 100 scores are listed.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following as types of engagement:
- Posts made using leofinance.io (P)
- Comments made using leofinance.io (C)
- Number of people spoken to where the comment was made using leofinance.io (PS)
- Comments made outside of own posts using leofinance.io (CO)
- Unique Author posts commented on where the comment was made using leofinance.io (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes (SV)

So you rank almost exclusively on comment length? Many of the people on your list arent even contributing regular posts but because of the comment length they are top 100. Pretty interesting metrics but I cant say I disagree with the logic as comments and engagement are the only thing keeping the community alive.
Comment Length (CL) is one of the metrics but the formula puts more weight on other numbers like the number of people spoken to and the number of comments outside ones own blog. The guys are the top are ahead on these numbers by a distance.
Posting isn't engagement, although Posts are required to bring the comments/engagement.

I did a little analysis on your data.
At beginning, I think it's quite hard to get into the top 100 list.
But actually, not so difficult. I just need to leave 5-6 comments a week, really A WEEK, then you're able to sit in top 100 list.
