Each of the numbers has a partner with whom it shares its digits (they are anagrams of eachother)...all those being EVENLY paired we are left with an ODD one out:

6394

Well. That's an early end to the game. Obviously, he hit the nail on the head and is correct so give him the 10 stem and get another one posted lol !!!
Meanwhile, I'll look for another one that could be an odd one out.....sadly, none of them are prime numbers so there must be another reason.....

I believe 6231 is the odd one out. It is the only odd number and the rest are even numbers.

Thank you for running the competition, it is really very fun :)

Yes, what he said. There are 9 sets of numbers. Each uses the same four digits in a second set except the first one, 6394. I tried adding the 4 digits together and thought that was going to be the answer until I got to the last number. Up until that point, the only number with an "odd' sum was the 7th number. But then the 9th matched it, obviously.
