Pocket calendars - Bee, Use the services of savings banks! - USSR 1980 - my hobby.

Greetings friends!

I think that chronology, or rather the ability to keep track of days and the ability to plan something in the future, became the ancestor of mathematics.

Initially, people made notches on wood and stone, counting the days, but when the numbers appeared, the first clendari appeared.

In the beginning, they were very cumbersome and were kept in temples with seven seals, but. over time, everyone was able to get their own, personal, pocket calendar.

This small piece of paper with a picture on the front and numbers on the back allowed you to plan the days, weeks and months of each year.

On its paper surface, one could make notes and highlight significant dates.

One of my hobbies is collecting old pocket calendars. They were gathering dust on my closet and I decided to give them a new life by talking about my collection.

For my first publication in Stem, I chose not the most popular calendar among collectors.

I will say more, this calendar did not get into any of the catalogs of pocket calendars, yes, and such catalogs exist.

The circulation of this calendar is colossal, 50,000,000 copies, and this makes such a calendar. unpopular and of little value, but look at this image, dear to all of us.

You see the symbolism of the Hive, a bee that flies against the background of honeycombs and carries a coin in its paws!

Am I wrong, or is this some kind of prophecy? lol.

This calendar came into circulation in the winter of 1980, and the Beehive appeared exactly 40 years later.

We can safely say that even then, the creators of this calendar had thoughts about the crypto world, in which we live today.

I suggest taking a look at this calendar.

This calendar was distributed free of charge to attract new depositors to the banking of the Soviet Union.

In fact, the Savings Bank was a single bank where citizens of the USSR kept their savings.

It should be added that the release of calendars was one of the available technologies for delivering the necessary information to the masses.

To be continued.

You can see the evolution of the history of my pocket calendars collection on my Stemgeeks blog.

I edited a photo in the program PhotoDirector, which I also installed on my smartphone.

For my publications, I do not use stock photographs, it is fundamentally important for me to use photographs that I have made with my own hands for publication and I can name them - authorial work.
