Funding The Launch - Of The ALIVE Tribe

So as we have written in our White Paper we need to raise 4000 BEE tokens to fund the launch of our tribe, download the White Paper here, White Paper - ALIVE And ALIVEM.

We have also published the details for the free airdrop of 100 000 ALIVE tokens that we will make when we launch the tribe, Free ALIVE Airdrop - The List Is Out.

Now the time has come to raise those 4000 BEE which we need to launch the tribe, and this is what these funds will be used for.

1. Staking (Power Up) - 1000 BEE
2. Scotbot (Token distribution for tribes) - 1000 BEE
3. Nitrous (Tribe Condenser or website) - 1000 BEE
4. Active Users - 1000 BEE staked, 1 BEE for each active user, enforced by Hive-engine.

In addition to this we also need almost 40 BEE for the smart contract to do the airdrop, but that can either be taken from point 4 since there is some wiggle room there, or if we overshoot our funding target and get them that way.

How The Funding Will Be Done

As we have described in the White Paper the funding will happen by anyone wanting to fund this tribe sending BEE tokens to the @wearealive account.

We will then get the numbers from the blockchain, and the order in which the transactions come in on the blockchain is what we will use to make our funders list.

The accounts sending the first 4000 BEE will get 200 000 ALIVE tokens in the airdrop when the tribe is launched, and if we overshoot it then we will send miner tokens, ALIVEM, to accounts who sent BEE tokens after the first 4000 BEE came in.

As was also described in our White Paper the ALIVE token has 3 decimals, so we will truncate decimals after the third decimal, and this will add a very small amount above the 4000 BEE who also gets ALIVE tokens before moving on to miners.

Do also note that the miners need their own funding to start mining ALIVE tokens, 1000 BEE to enable Staking and another 1000 BEE to enable the smart contract for Mining, and that is not included in this funding round, but will be covered as we start selling them on the market after we have covered the funding to launch the tribe, but maybe we get so lucky that we actually get all the funds for that too in this round, and are able to enable the miners from our launch.

But here we will focus primarily on the first 4000 BEE that we need to launch the tribe.

BEE Funding List

Here is the list of BEE transactions that we have got so far, and with the part sum showing to the right, and the total we have in the @wearealive account right now is 1116.82207833 BEE.

From now on we will make a daily post updating this list as we get more BEE, and as you can see we need less than 3000 BEE to reach our target.

Plan B

To also make sure that we are not painting ourselves into a corner we have also made a Plan B, and that is if we do not get the BEE tokens that we need, then we keep the door open to start selling the remaining part of the 200 000 ALIVE tokens that has not been claimed with BEE on the market at a price of 0.02 Hive.

But this is a last resort if we do not get the funds with BEE, and also note that you can get BEE both on the market and by mining them for less than 1 Hive per BEE, so sending BEE will get you a better price.
