Hello my fellow Hivians, I'm happy to write to you today.
Whoa! Today was quite tiring as I came back late from college and had to rush to prepare for work trying to avoid being questioned, still I arrived late.
Today's topic was interesting but I had challenges in some area, so I decided to give it my best in finding out what was aching me course our instructors always say once a topic is treated it can't be taking again, so I can't afford to miss a class talkless of not getting to understand a topic. Well if you are wondering which topic it is that I keep emphasising this much, it's one of the application software of a system known as power point; it's an interesting topic right? The problems I encountered was the application of animation & transition.
But there is a major problem which is the fact that I don't have any pc to practise on for now, so you see the more reason I had to stay back to sort things out.
Nevertheless it's a great relief to me because all I had to do today went smoothly.

Good 🌃! , sweet dreams

It's still your very own @rickardoh wishing you a Triumphant month on #iamalivechallenge of @flaxz with @eliydrakes, @petersdowie, @chocolatescorpi,@femcy-willy, @rarej, @jlufer, @gurseerat, @iamraincrystal and many more.

Great to see you alive @rickardoh even if a bit tired, and sorry to hear about your issues with Powerpoint and not having a PC, there is a free version avaliable on Andriod based phones, though it might be a bit limited, but great to hear that you are moving forward, thanks for sharing and stay safe, awesome and alive.

It’s difficult combining work and schooling and it’s really great that you are making it work. It’s difficult to study some topics without a pc but I do hope you get the understanding of it. Take care.

Hello @rickardoh, Nowadays computer plays huge role for easiest human's work like education and professional tasks. Unfortunately without it your work capacity reduced. But don't worry you can find it with hard effort. If we really think about something, definitely we can seek it. Powerpoint is a very interesting topic for mine. But recently I couldn't use these software. Have a wonderful day. Be safe and stay healthy.

Am glad that you are alive @rickardoh and is not easy to combine work and school together. I remember when I was doing the two together it was not easy but doing weekend I make sure I take enough rest.

It's true my brother, I actually stopped working for some while but had to beg for them to accept me back course things didn't work out the way I expected.
I spend more than my savings in transportation every single day but at least having something to do is better than seating and putting hopes on people of course they also have their own problems too. 🤷‍♂️

To practice such things at home, you definitely need a computer at home. Otherwise, you have to request your course instructor for allowing you to stay after the session to practice on the office computers.

Hope that you can buy a PC soon.

Yeah, I'm working on it by saving some money and I believe sooner or later I will definitely have one.

@rickardoh, i can understand the difficulty of learning without a computer at home.
But i glad that did not stop you from learning and doing your tasks.

Keeping pressing on till you can afford a computer.

take care and stay safe.

I see!
Well, back then when I learnt that particular program (around 2009), I had no pc to practice with but I was the best among every other students including those with their PCs.
How I achieved it was just simple.
I paid more attention and asked questions, drawing it in my notes which I had to beg the ones with their PCs to practice.
After about 3 days of training, I gained more knowledge more than everyone and started teaching others in my level.
You have a good phone which can play videos.
Go to YouTube and download videos on ppt.
Watch and learn.
Be ahead of others and ask questions using the videos you've watched. Don't tell your instructor that's it's from videos you watch before you vex him/her.
The world has changed for you to be saying that you don't understand.
You can equally download power point app on your android phone from the play store.

Well, I won't say much but this.
Learning powerpoint is not stressful compared to MS access, Excel or SPSS. Not to talk of oracle or hackathon.
For you to understand this simple program, you can add to what you're being taught with online tutorials using youtube and blog posts.
The slides are made more fun and mature with translations.
As you've noticed your main limitation I learning, try to be at the training venue before commencement of training.
By that, you're likely to see free computers or someone in your class with his or her PC.
