That was totally unexpected (#IAAC 80)

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Since @elianaicgomes and @ph1102 wanted something more crazy, I filmed this video in front of a lion...

Just kidding, in this video I talk about the delivery of the message, including the length of the video and how I decided on a couple of format rules.

How does the green screen work? Is there an app for that? I've been considering some videos.

ahahaha thank you 🤣
Your energy and presence on camera is more than enough and better than 10 Lions attacking you lol
When the message is well delivered, special effects are not needed.
Like I said in the last post, I like things practical, one take and avoid editing, less work and more raw can be as special. But there are pretty cool editions out there, like our favorite Pixie, @pixiepost! But I'm biased 😁
So finding some balance between being practical and giving the best message and adding an extra "bling" to our videos can be tricky, so we keep trying and testing.
Thank you again 💜

Thanks so much, Sis! 💚 I appreciate your kind words. I take a lot of time in editing & find it fun - an art in itself....

But I DO agree with you - the message & the delivery is the most important part of the video. One can have all the bells & whistles but if there is no real substance to the video or delivered in a crappy way, the editing won't matter at that point. People won't watch....

That's why, for me personally, I strive to find that balance & there are a few other content creators who do the same. It's nice to find a mix of styles & topics... :)

Haha.. true. Just don't have the time set aside yet to improve my editing skills. It does bother me sometimes, but last time I tried to improve that straight away, it took so much time I stopped completely.

hello dear friend @jeanlucsr good day
I loved the effect of your video, very creative
I appreciate very much that you have touched on this topic and that you gave us your opinion, without a doubt two important points when making the video, a clear message and not very extensive so that people can see the video until the end.
I take this opportunity to wish you a splendid day

Very good @jeanlucsr
Indeed all 3 things are very important - Content, Delivery and length of the video. If you get all 3 right u will get a great video.

LOL! Love this video. All I could think is lions, tigers & bears, oh my! 😂🤣 The only "cat" I have in my background is Timmy & usually, I am peeling him off the walls. I guess that can make for an interesting video sometimes LMAO.

Yes, I agree with your points about content creation. I think when it comes down to it, we all have our own style - I tend to mix it up...sometimes I have short videos from my phone & other times, the professionally edited, longer ones...it kind of depends upon my mood & what type of content I am trying to deliver. In it, I am actually loving the editing process even though it can be quite time consuming.

All in all, I believe, as a content creator, you have to do what brings you joy because your audience will pick up on it. If they see that you're not into what content you're trying to do or you are doing it just for the money, it shows. They won't be attracted to your content....it's important to start off with that..then, the rest will follow as you work on length, editing, delivery, etc...

Your videos are great, ,my friend, esp. lately, & as always, I look forward to your future content as well.... beware of the lions & llamas (oops did I say llamas?)🤣🤣🧡

While I agree that the content and the delivery are very important, I don't put the length of the video in the same category. If the content and the delivery are captivating and keep the attention of the viewer, a video can be quite lengthy and still be effective. It those cases, you can actually provide much more information and not have to break up your message into several parts. For example, if you are creating a D-I-Y video on how to build something really cool that people would like to create, your video could be much longer than most if you do it in a way that is entertaining and informative. My point is to evaluate the message you are trying to convey before you determine the length of your delivery.

heheheh... Thanks for the mention, and that lion attack was cool... I didn't hear the rest of the message as the lion was way too great :) :)

Just kidding... But, actually, people know to react like that... as they get distracted from the real message with all those fancy stuff... And, as I'm writing this, I got aware that that is happening every day on mainstream media... we get distracted from the important things...

Cheers!
