Purple Kind Of Day | IAAC 168th

We're finally on to Thursday! I don't know why I associated the gloominess and cloudiness of it to the color of purple. I'm sure the color purple has a lot of meanings. It's even associated with royalty or nobility. It has not been my favorite color until late. My most favorite is green! I suppose that's why I wanted our container garden to have more greens.

It started to rain as I was recording my video by the garden. It actually gets flooded along the terrace hallway when it rains hard, but this is not yet one of those days. I did walk in the rain on my way back to the office. There's something comforting about the rain, although I needed to watch out for slippery pavements. 😂🤣 oh boy!!!

I'm not fully satisfied with the container garden. It really needs more improvement, and I do know I will need to commit to the regular maintenance of it. That's fine by me as long as it reaches the goal of being a relaxing place to be. That will be another achievement I would love to earn. 🙌🏼🙌🏼



What is it with cats and boxes? 😹😹 Twilight sleeps inside the box, as Grumpy joins him. Well, my sad news is that we have lost all of Grumpy's litters. I had my hands full and couldn't take care of it all, esp. since Grumpy didn't seem to care much about her kittens. 😿😿 I hope we do better with Mowe's kittens, so a vet clinic visit has been planned for Sunday.

Sorry about the loss of the kittens. We have three house cats and whenever an empty box is on the floor all the cats end up going in and checking the box out. I wish you good luck with your container garden.

my favorite color is blue.

I did enjoy getting wet in the rain back when i was in Bangalore, India.
Not much in the UK :-)

To me purple is a gloomy color for a totally different reason. It's the color of the political party that ruined my country corruption for the past ten years. Just recently they lost the elections, so now I'm slowly starting to enjoy purple things again. 😅

Sorry to hear about the kittens. I wouldn't expect much of a cat named "Grumpy" anyway in terms of emotional interest towards it's children. Just kidding of course. These things can be hard sometimes. I'm not a cat person, but I've had the same problems with puppies and the mother biting them to death. It's all part of the circle of life I guess..

😂🤣 thanks for the laugh there. We named her Grumpy based on her kitty trait. She hissed at us when we first met her. I guess it is the circle of life. Survival of the fittest is very evident in animals.

I hope you'll have better government. We are badly in need of a new leader, a more competent one. 😑😑

I think all developing countries have that inherent problem of corruption. Especially the ones that have gotten independence not that long ago. I have learned that it is better for us as individuals to work on ourselves and take care of friends and family where possible, instead of depending on government. Being on Hive is a good start. :)

Sorry about the loss of the kittens. Don’t know if the behaviors of cats are changing, but same thing happened to 2 cats in my house. You are really looking forward to the weekend and I do hope you have a wonderful time.
