Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz on 3speak, CTPtalk and Hive.

Hive Use Case - Don't Sell It - Spend It On Chain

In this video I talk about use case for Hive, and that the vision and goal is to spend it on chain instead of selling it.

Just think about it, would you not rather buy coffee with Hive than selling it for fiat to buy coffee with?

I also talk about some of the solutions available to use Hive for buying and selling goods and services.

This includes an extention to the WooCommerce Wordpress plugin from @roomservice, and I found out about it from @achim03, read more here, WooCommerce Hive Payment Method added HIVE-ENGINE

Then we have the Leoshop on the Leofinance tribe for selling ebooks, though I am currently not sure about the state of it.

And of course also FirePay which is a script to integrate CTP token payments for affiliate marketers, and made by @blainjones.

So a bit of options already, and we need to use them to build with, plus also develop more options for other ways to spend our Hive and Hive-engine tokens on chain rather than selling them.

Now to find the link for Achim's, website cause it's really about time that I use the info that he gave on his video about the hive ENGINE wallet bit thing and put it to good use- if I have even got anything in there....

No thank you for imparting that wide information.
So I have an online store and I've just learnt the term-droppshipping- My image designs on rebubble's products.

So I was thinking about hooking my store up on the Hivelists classifieds and I already have a wix website for it, though I could not afford to pay the fees and apparently theyHivelist classifieds do hosting too...so depending on the price....and then, maybe I could say that payments for items can be made to me in hive, then I use my fiat money to order the product on the redbubble site cause I'm pretty sure that they don't accept crypto yet...but that would be a hassle to do...maybe..maybe not..., soooo I need to work out the best way to do this, then that would keep the hive in the hive...

Yes, actually I found some of his videos on 3speak and watched them last night. (Annnd Bookmarked them to re-watch later...)

So you can hear the gears in my brain creaking away can't you...lol..

Almost 4am n I’m laying in bed making my hive to do list for tomorrow!
I intend to start the ball rolling on at least 2 new pathways tomorrow as well as a few quality posts in diff communities, lots of conversations and curations!

Hi Erik,
I like your thoughts about the HIVE and its usability its transacting directly with fiat. If it happens in the future then it will surely add value. Thanks for sharing this great video.

This is most definitely what I would love to see also...reaching the point where we can spend these tokens/currencies directly instead of first having to go back to fiat currencies.

I think your post drives home a very important message...we all want to see this happen, but the sooner we start using it in that way, the sooner the goal will be accomplished.

It is very true what you say, without a doubt it is to circulate our virtual currencies (hive) to exchange them for cash, it would be very good if a debit card could be attached to our account to generate comparisons with them, wherever you are.
