I Am Alive Challenge - Post #11 - Birthday Edition
Hey everyone, it is CaptainCryptic again.
It has been awhile since I made my #iamalivechallenge post. Between vacation and then getting caught back up I've been pretty busy. At least that is my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
I Am Alive But Older
Today I celebrate having successfully journeyed around the sun one more time. That is to say, it is my Birthday. I am not only am one year older, but also one year closer to being able to retire - something I look forward to more and more with each passing day!
Birthday Plans
My wife and I don't exchange gifts any more, but we do let the birthday person pick a dinner location. I've selected a great new brewery in town that has a even better empanadas restaurant next door that does take out. We are likely going to meet some friends there too. Should be fun.
My Mini-Vacation In Hilton Head
I enjoyed my visit with my sister very much. We went to several nice Happy Hour's and did lots of sight seeing. Most all of which I had done before but my sister had never been to Hilton Head so it was new to her. I think she liked it.
