Level Up Conversations 💡 Discuss Ideas

Maybe I'll sound like a broken record when mentioning how important engaging in the communities in the Hive eco-system is, but something occurred to me today and that is how true one of Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelts quotes rings true and then it's not just about the act of engaging, but more about the quality of the act.

First of, if you're being insincere, people will sense it and will eventually stop conversing and in the worst case stop supporting you. And then you have Mrs. Roosevelts quote "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.", of which I got reminded of today when I brought an idea to the attention of a friend of mine. I will not call myself great just yet 😅, but I've seen how discussing ideas could lead to beautiful and successful things in my circles in the "real world".

It all has to do with the synergy between people when conversing and/or brainstorming: some ideas will never see the light of day, while others will be adjusted and mostly from one idea other ideas will pop up, and so on. The energy has to be just right to let creativity flourish. And I've also seen it happening here on Hive. Real people are invested and sincerely take their time learning from one another, starting conversations by posting, reading/listening and asking questions and one topic or many, give birth to ideas for great and meaningful posts and even some projects and challenges have started that way.
