Congnition; My Mere Thoughts🌌

avatar
(Edited)

Staring into the mirror, All I see is myself ,trying to clear my head of the past pains and the heart burns I felt when I was down.

Still battling with myself in my mind, giving my better version an edge over my darker side.

These are my mere thoughts, thoughts I am always changing to suit the future I picture, self-procrastinating is the enemy within, getting better and moving forward is the target am aiming.

I aim at being diplomatic and logical, clear reasoning gives me joy. Being 1% better than I was keep getting better.

I just want to be better than my better self everyday. Growing and waxing in my mere thoughts.

it’s all just a fragment of what and how I feel right now and it’s scattered all around like a broken mirror image.

Great poetry my friend!

These are my mere thoughts, thoughts I am always changing to suit the future I picture, self-procrastinating is the enemy within, getting better and moving forward is the target am aiming.

I can relate do much to this part. Definitely self procrastination is the worst enemy within. I fight this battle every day too.

Thanks for sharing this fragment of you.
Keep posting and keep shining!

I can really relate to self procrastination also. I always feel like I could be doing more but don’t for some reason.

Thank you for sharing. I feel like everyone just tries to act like life is perfect but it is not. You look at peoples posts on social media you would think wow these people are really doing good for themselves but everyone only shares their best moments. Deep down we all have our own struggles we all deal with.

Yes procrastination is the enemy of progress. You always have to keep fighting everyday to eliminate this enemy. He’s never dead nor defeated.

A lot of pretenders out here ? Yes , we don’t know what’s real anymore and what’s fake. Just running in circles every minute.

Social media is the full of fake moments and memories. The real memories will always be within us and it rarely comes out.
