Your Brain Your Authority
Being yourself and free from the influence of others is true freedom. There are times when we ask for references from others to do something important in our life. A reference is not a sum of information that fools us. Asking for references or recommendations should be done to avoid wrong decisions.
Some of the internet users do not have authority in their mind to get fair information because their mindsets are controlled by public figures or influencers. The worst, some of us give our data voluntarily to an institution or company that we know the company uses our data for their commercial benefit. Our data is used as a money machine.
Do you care enough when your teenagers use their fingers to tick a thumbnail symbol on social media? If we realize that our "like" is money for ones who we do not know.
Zero brain
Being a fan of a public figure is the same as surrendering our dignity. Do you know that a public figure like an artist or an athlete has millions of followers? Why do those people follow the artist? In my view, it is because those people do not have brain. They have brain physically but the brain is empty. I do not understand why they want to fill their brains with the contents of the heads of other people.
Blind followers
A social media has changed the way of life. Children sometimes feel very proud because they follow a YouTuber. It is a phenomenon in my country where YouTubers attract millions of young users to subscribe. As a teacher, I am concerned because there is no educational value in the YouTuber's content. I will say that it is a kind of blind following.
Contents that have no educational value have a strong influence on the children's behavior. In this case, a lot of brains of young people are filled with stupidity.
Adults have different standards to follow a social media influencer. They are smarter than young people. Yet, some adults are still to be blind followers.
Regain the authority
Having a brain is the key to regain our authority. Freedom of mind will make us free influences. Use the power of the brain to analyze, sort, and decide what information that is eligible to be accepted. With this, we will regain true independence. We will not be targeted by large enterprises to buy their products. We will not be deceived by politicians. Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is not only about blockchain tech but it is also freedom. It is the freedom to choose, freedom to shop, freedom to socialize. The last words" Your brain is your power, your brain is your authority".
Yeah these social media influencers are a really bizarre phenomenon. I see so many teenagers and folks in their 20s aiming to monetize their influence.
There was an article recently about how some shows are paying so much for these influencers to appear on their show that they had no money left to pay the rest of the cast and crew.
They are too enthusiastic, in fact, their contents are monetized by the platforms they use.
