This dialogue is not real. I imagine that I am a non-cryptocurrency user with zero knowledge about hive and cryptocurrency. I try to remember when I was a few years ago. I did not know at all about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I will answer the questions from me a few years ago today. Today I am a hive blogger. I do not know about coding and technique in cryptocurrency. I know how to send, receive, stake, trade, blog and withdraw rewards from hive.

The non-cryptocurrency user: What's your doing? You are like writing something.
The hive blogger: I am writing for my blog.
The non-cryptocurrency user: Cool
The hive blogger : Do you like blogging or writing?
The non-cryptocurrency user: Yes, I like blogging, I have a blog with my domain name
The hive blogger : Why do you blog?
The non-cryptocurrency user : It is my hobby and I earn money from blogging
The hive-blogger : That sounds great, how do you earn money from your blog?
The non-cryptocurrency user: Adsense
The hive-blogger : How much do you earn?
The non-cryptocurrency user: Not much, I earn about $200 a year, it is just a side income for me How about you? why do you blog on hive?
The hive blogger : Money, getting social, and investment
The non-cryptocurrency user : I don't see any ads on hive, where is the money from?
The hive blogger : It is from the system

The non-cryptocurrency user feels more curious.
The non cryptocurrency user : wait! it means the system creates money? How do you get paid? Do you withdraw the money to Paypal or your bank account?
The hive blogger : The system will reward you with Hive and Hive Back Dollar (HBD), I earn from every post or comment that I made. The reward from upvotes or likes and it goes to hive wallet directly
The non-cryptocurrency user : I still don't understand, do you mean hive print the money?
The hive blogger : Yes, something like that Do you know bitcoin or cryptocurrency?
The non-cryptocurrency user : I heard about bitcoin but I am not interested in bitcoin. I think it is just a Ponzi scheme. I am afraid your blog for a Ponzi scheme. How much do you earn from hive blogging?
The hive blogger : It ranges from $100 to $200 monthly
The non-cryptocurrency user : Are you sure? How many visitors is your blog in a month?.
The hive blogger : Blogging on hive is different from Adsense blogging We don't rely on visitors from search engines but from getting social on this platform.
The non-cryptocurrency user: It is not clear to me, how do you get the reward?
The hive blogger: OK, I will explain, the reward comes from upvotes or likes of your posts or comments
The non-cryptocurrency user: Do you mean if someone upvotes or likes your post, your post will earn the reward?
The hive blogger: That is true
The non-cryptocurrency user : How do you cash out the reward?
The hive blogger: I send the reward to exchanges and cash it out to my bank account

The non-cryptocurrency user still looks confused. He reads on the domain name " proofofbrain.io"
The non-cryptocurrency user: Proofofbrain.io, what is that again? Did you say that you blog for hive?
The hive blogger: This is called hive tribe, It is a front end of a community on hive.blog platform. If you use the hive tribe front end, you will earn additional rewards. Proofofbrain.io will reward you with POB token.
The non-cryptocurrency user: Do you mean that you will multiple rewards?
The non-cryptocurrency user: That is crazy, I do not believe this but you make my mind burst thinking about that. OK, I will not ask how the reward comes from, I just want to ask how you store the multiple rewards
The hive blogger: All the rewards are sent to your hive wallet. You can use the reward to stake, trade, or cash out. All hive tribe tokens are stored in your hive-engines wallet. Hive-engines is the decentralized exchange and smart contract on hive platform.
The non-cryptocurrency user: To please my curiosity, could you help me register hive?
The hive blogger: Sure, Open http://signup.hive.io/ , you can register now

The non-cryptocurrency user signs up a hive account but he still does not understand how hive blogging.
The hive blogger: First of all, you should make an introductory post with the tag introduceyourself. After that, you can start the journey to hive blogging. Call me if you have any questions.
The non-cryptocurrency user: Thanks bro..., I will learn by doing.

Thanks for reading. This imaginary dialogue may not represent the non-cryptocurrency user in general. I hope you can add more odd questions in the comment sections and help me to answer.

Thanks bro..., I will learn by doing.

This is pretty much the response you want after saying "It's a social platform where you can get rewarded for sharing ideas, information, or whatever else you feel fits the bill."

I told my flatmate about HIVE about a month ago and he keeps saying that 'he should get into it', but never gets round to it. Always too busy with something else and not willing to learn. Never waste too much energy on someone who isn't willing to learn for themselves, the likelihood is that they'll not bring that much to the platform anyway.

I also have a friend that did the same thing as your experience. I think I should focus on my work on this platform after that, instead of making another trust the platform.

It's a much better use of your time. They'll land on Web 3.0, there will be no need for Web 2.0 at some point in time. Who still uses a typewriter when we have keyboards able to digitize our words?
