Following its launch, Safemoon multiplied rapidly in value after a wave of celebrity endorsements, reaching a high price of $0.00001375 in April 2021 before falling to $0.000002868 in May 2021 with the most recent cryptocurrency crash.

In May of 2021, Safemoon announced it had entered into talks with the Government of Gambia to provide technology for innovation and learning. In June, Safemoon invited applications for the beta testing of it's Safemoon Wallet. Most recently, Safemoon CEO and COO have jointly announced plans to use Minecraft as a platform to test new features. It is worthy of note that on May 10, 2021 a billboard advertising Safemoon appeared in New York City's Times Square claiming it to be 'The world's fastest growing cryptocurrency.'

May of 2021 was a busy month for Safemoon. The token was audited by security auditing firm CertiK, receiving a score of 82/100. This audit revealed no critical issues, but noted one 'major issue' that the project's owners hold control over tokens funded by SafeMoon's seller fee. The Safemoon response to this 'major issue' was a terse statement: "In regards to owner control, we are a fair launch governed by a central board which is subject to governmental regulations and law. We are a legally registered entity in accordance to the law and jurisdictions in which we operate".

Safemoon has been described as a "meme coin", much the same as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. Those persons equating Safemoon to a "meme coin" likewise attribute the value of the token to mere market frenzy in lieu of it possessing any true intrinsic value.

In the subsections that follow in this Safemoon Coin Guide the matters contained in this Introduction will be discussed in further depth and a great deal of new information will be provided.

Hehe, I heard a lot about Safemoon. Actually, I was in some sort of airdrop group when it was first mentioned and I was reluctant to invest. Yes, I did lose out on those high percentage profits, but notwithstanding, I rather actually invest in what I trust than care about a missed ship of a "shitcoin"
