Calculation of the stakes of POB Holders
For a long time i have been wondering if we can take out the actual stakes of the #pob holders and rank them according to their balances.Since last couple of days i have been thinking about my account. Where does it rank in the community. I was referring the different posts but my name never appeared in that hence i decided to actually analyse the data.
There is an existing tool, which is the base for calculation of the richlist. But I found it a bit inaccurate. As it is probably not considering the staked value of the tokens while ranking.
@vempromundo publishes the list of POB rich under his initiative of "Brainrank". The ranks I am providing here would be little different from what he prepares. This list is an extension of his work.
I have calculated the actual balances of the accounts as on 26th April for all the 2027 accounts and have considered the amount staked and
I am providing herewith the list of top 50 accounts based on 26th April.

Yes, I went through the same but found out that the list ignores the delegations given out to the other community members. For example, let us take an example of @proofofbrainio. In his case, the liquid balance is 9381, he has staked 88968 and he has delegated out 33882. So ideally the balance should have been 9381+88968-33882 = 64467. However, the richlist provides the balance of 30585. Hence I felt it is necessary to calculate the same manually and arrange it to get the exact ranking after considering all the parameters.
I have this weird feeling there is a bunch of socialists on here that are going to hate us for being on that list. Not pointing any fingers, but I got a weird reaction to my post concerning buy support and distribution.

What was the weird reaction? I went back to the post (I'm assuming it's the one with 'Kraken' in the title) and double-checked the comments. I couldn't see anything that raised any questions but maybe I'm too dumb to see.
I'll be honest, I only see a handful of people who are concerned about wider distribution and I've got the thought in my head that this is just going to turn into another iteration of HIVE, in terms of larger stakeholders dictating where the distribution goes and those at the start of their 'residency' sucking up.
I'm possibly not looking far enough into the long term, would appreciate hearing your thoughts about it.

@lebah in my analysis your current rank is 124 with the balance of 261 POB. I am sure you would be in top 100 in next few days if you keep staking.

Yes, when you calculate the value of the vote, the amount you delegate is reduced from your vote value calculations.
Come on give me a heads up next time so I can drop some delegations ;p

You were on 259th position on the date this analysis was compared. There is quite a good chance that many of these positions would have changed now.

Each of these accounts are important but surprisingly i am seeing in just last two weeks @onealfa.pob has become one of the top ten accounts. Today morning i read his post which mentioned that he is not spending a single penny from his fiat money to acquire such high stakes. Its all the income coming from his leo curation. Wish i could build such a power some time soon

My name doesnt appear in this list, but i am still curious to understand where do i stand in the community of #pob holders. It would help me to plan my staking activity in the near future.
You ranked 87th when i made these calculations. After this post a lot of positions have been changed. You need to stake more and be active to be visible on this community.
