Yeah, the collonie of wmano shrimps established verry well.

I see a lot of egg cerrying females.

Stay tuned as a detailed blog about the diffrence of male and female amano shrimp.


It is just awsome how epic they look both all the fish. By the way bouth, the fish and shrimps arr verry frindly to each outhers. Mostly they do not care about each outhers.


If there is some fights or so it is allways a small one about food and allways in the specias.
I have a few diffrend kind of shrimps in here,

  • the transparent big ones are amano shrimps,
  • the small red and blue ones are neo cardina shrimps,
  • and not in this pictures are the molukken shrimps (my favorite)

My amanos are enjoying that beer :-) I like to transfer them between three tanks that I have as the cleanup crew, they are good at cleaning the hard to scrub surfaces of algae. They always shed whenever I change them out of a tank. I had one climb out of the tank off a heater chord once and I found him on the floor walking around. So be careful they can't climb out of anything. Maybe they go to shore every now and then in the wild.
