SoulStorm - Death Monster with Multi Abilities

Hello and Namaste Friends,

Its Sunday today and day is almost over here in India. I hope you are having a good time with your family and friends and also staying safe at the place wherever you are. This is my splinterlands battle share post for this week and in this post, I shared my tips and strategies I followed to win the battle. I did some battling this morning and currently in the Gold 3 league. I can't go beyond the Gold 3 league as per the recent collection power changes implemented by the team.

This week's theme card is Soulstorm and its an epic card from the Death monsters team in the untamed edition. I like sharing battles every week as it is so much fun. I did not have this card so I purchased this card from https://monstermarket.io along using credit and got some cashback as well in form of DEC tokens. I always buy cards from the monster market website because it is easy to use and also provides cashback on the purchase of all cards.

I had seen this card sometime back and it was for $0.65 earlier but now its price increased and this could because of battle share contest. This is a quite nice card so I am happy to have it in my account.

Now Let's also have a look at the statistics for this card. We need to go through it to know more about the card and figure out the capabilities of any card. It's a very important part to know about any card. Without going through stats it's difficult to conclude whether the card is good or not.
Soulstorm is an epic card from the Death monster in the untamed print editions. This card is available from levels 1 to 6 and it also has abilities Flying, Snare, Headwinds, and Stun from level 1 until 6. I like the cards having any ability from level 1 because there are many cards with no abilities at all.

Cards Line-up and for the Battle

I got 99 mana for this battle and its too good so I could pick nice and powerful cards. I picked up 6 cards and some of them are with high mana cost. I picked these cards to win the battle and my selected cards played so well. Battles with 99 mana cost give complete freedom to pick any card and there are no restrictions at all.

Gelatinous Cube

Cube is a nice card to keep in front and this helps to project many other monsters behind. I did the same with this battle because due to the theme I did not get quite powerful cards to I choose to pick this one and put it on the front.

Octopider

Octopider is also a nice card in the death team that does play nicely but I usually avoid keeping it in front because never seen it doing well while I use it in front.

Spirit Miner

I have this card in Gold Foil and its one of my favorite from a neutral monster. It does a nice attack faster and this is what I like about it.

Soulstorm

Soulstorm is certainly a nice card but I was not aware of it since I did not have it before. I got to know about it through the battle share challenge and this is why I like this challenge because it helps us to learn about more cards.

Black Dragon

Black Dragon is also a very nice card from the dragon but its ability is awesome. It keeps on grabbing the power from the monster it attacks with each attack. Having this card in the team is a good option if there is enough mana cap.

Prismatic Energy

Out of many cards in the Neutral monster, this one is my favorite because it attacks faster and when it gets to attack it reflects back and this is a very nice ability of this card.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Whatever strategy I planned for this battle went pretty well and I won this battle. I will try more ways to play with it in future battles depending upon mana and theme for the same.

Soulstorm is a powerful card from the Death monster that is surely worth keeping in the account. I have played so many battles with this card and I like its performance. I will surely use this card on my future battles.
