This video is a part of a little mini-series that was born through engagement... I have created the first post that was about the quality of living, and because of a lot of great feedback and community comments on that one, I was "forced" to create the second one, named Its All About the Perspective...

As it looks the community liked that one also, the story continued, and here we are in the third one... And I would say that this one is just a reflection of your comments to the first two posts... It is not MY vlog, it is OUR vlog... I have just turned it into the video message that you provided to me... :)

In the video, I have highlighted two specific comments for different reasons, as both of them inspired me to connect them into one idea... The first comment was from @russellstockley, where he wrote about how the perception isn't always created by ourselves, but rather "pushed" from outside and presented as ours...

The other one was more practical, by @achim03, where he told his story about his trip to a foreign country and the perception of the events that were (or weren't) happened in the eyes of his mother at home... (check both comments on the link above)

By reading them, I got to some strange conclusions that we, as emotional beings, react and perceive some things in a certain (overreacted) way sometimes... By doing that, we are closing some doors in our lives... Unfortunately, fear is one of them that can lead us to that, and as it is a very powerful feeling, it can harm us a lot...

Don't forget to check out the video...

Thank you for your valuable time,

~ph~

I missed your vlogs man :-).
In a world where medias and social media always put forward what is not working, the dangers of life and everything that is wrong, we tend to be primed for that. We start to see everything through such lenses and in the end we lack to see the world as it is...

You came back on time... In the last post from that "series"... We have gone through all the topic, and we can move forward to the next one... :)

We start to see everything through such lenses and in the end we lack to see the world as it is...

And not just that... we refuse to OPEN our eyes at all because we have shut down that door...

Awesome vlog Zoltan @ph1102 perception is important often we can perceive things in a certain way because of what we are influenced by.

I lived on the streets of London for 5 years and whilst there was some tough days and times most of it was positive when i think back to it there was a lot i learned about myself and a lot of good times as well.

In fact without this time in my life i may never have met my wife and had our children together.

We have been together now as a couple for over 25 years but originally met on the streets, built a friendship in that time then when we both got off the streets we met up later and formed a deeper relationship.

Now we are blessed with 4 children and now grandchildren but when we tell people the look of horror on their faces is funny because their perception is it must have been a terrible time.

That is a fantastic personal story, Ben... And perception is a weird thing... Someone would say that you have lived through hell and had the worst days of your life (and you probably had days like that), but your memories aren't like that...

Your perception of that part of the life marked by meeting the woman of your life, and the great days that come after with your children... Someone would shut off that door of its life and try to forget asap, but you have embraced that and turned into a positive memory that has opened you more view about the world...

Great stuff, man... Thanks for sharing the story!

Thanks Zoltan @ph1102 yes perception is weird, i am a big believer in the quote by Robert Schuller "tough times don't last tough people do", everything we go through is a learning opportunity and just a moment.

We may not always be able to see it at the time but if we look hard enough there are always positives and that is what we need to focus on.

Anyone can find the negative in every situation that is easy, if we perceive it so,so it will be, but this will only continue to lead us down a negative path further down the line.

If we look for the positive and learning moments then we will only perceive our memories that way which will have a positive affect in the future path we take.

Things and situations will happen out of our control but what we take from it and learn from it is what matters and in the end result will map out our perception moving forward.

Be positive and keep working.

"News are best source of entertainment nowadays". You can believe some random more than news floating around.

"News are best source of entertainment nowadays"

That is a big truth... The problem is that 99% of the people take them seriously and follow them as they are real... and not just "entertaining material...

This is so true what you say. We need to be more careful about what we look at and who we listen too. Yes, the world is full of violence and aches, pains, and misery. But there is also good to be found in the world.

It is our choice of what we focus on because what we focus on will determine the quality of our life.

Great message. Thank you, Zoltan!

Thank you, Jaco...

Yes, the world is full of violence and aches, pains, and misery. But there is also good to be found in the world.

And the fact that we KNOW those things, it shouldn't influence on us that we ignore, look on the other side, and "don't go that way"...

Thanks for the inspiration and for being inspired :)

We can often enslave ourseklves to our own doubts, often when looked at , totally unfounded due to the how we have beenn conditioned to think.
This post inspired me to write another, and now writing this I have thoughof another, which no doubt will engage all sorts of comments,.

As you note in a comment on something else, I am spending a great deal of time posting, so I might leave my second thought for another day because I am percieveing doubt at my own addictions are becoming too addictive,
