SUG ELECTION IN MY SCHOOL

Today was a very busy day in my tertiary institution due to the fact that there is an election where people vote for their representatives that stand for them at the higher level. The SUG means student union government which no university or tertiary institutions don't have, all tertiary institutions have this body, the body is is made up of students in the school as the name implies, the body is established for the benefit of other students so that people in the higher post can hear their voice through the body

For the past few months, there have been series of campaign in the school environment and even outside the school environment just to create awareness in the mind of the student who are going to vote and also make the student have their trust. Most people who are going to vote don't know their candidate so well but when there is awareness through the name of the candidate going for the post even though they haven't seen them before but when they see the name , they wil be able to vote rightly for their candidate.

The election for today was scheduled to start by 9am in the morning but due to some unforeseen circumstances the accreditation and the rest started around after 11am, people are already loosing interest in voting but for the love of their candidate, they had to wait for the electoral body and cast their vote for their favourite candidate.

As at now, the result is yet to be out to know the winner of those post because not all those who aspire for the post will surely get there it's just one person for each post but I just wish all of them the very best of luck.
