¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS, HIVE! Mi discurso de felicitación para Hive y sus abejas.

Como siempre, 🙄 llego tarde a las fiestas de Hive: iniciativas, retos, concursos, Discord, Hivechat (cuando voy), en fin. Pero hay un dicho que reza así:

“Más vale llegar tarde, que no llegar”.

Y aquí me tienen, tarde, pero seguro.

En una publicación anterior, escribí sobre mi tercer aniversario en Hive, que si bien fue hace casi dos meses (02 de febrero, para ser exactos), tenía pendiente escribir sobre ello y quise enmarcarlo en lo que era el cumpleaños de Hive. En las líneas finales del post, agrego que hay varias personas a las cuales les agradezco muchas cosas y que nombrarlas a todas me llevaría una publicación entera. Pues esta será esta publicación, porque es imposible hablar sobre Hive, sin hablar de la gente que hace vida en ella, hace que se mantenga viva y hace de ella un maravilloso lugar para vivir.

Comentaba en mi post, que me "uní" (inicié) a Hive como tal, en mayo de 2020, o sea, ya Hive tenía dos meses de nacida (¿ven que siempre llego tarde a las fiestas?). Yo venía de Steemit y pues, tuve mis dudas sobre si quedarme allá o venirme para acá. Al final, viendo que los mayores y mejores proyectos de curación, además de mis amigos y conocidos de confianza se habían mudado para esta colmena, me decanté por quedarme aquí y arriesgarme a probar las mieles de este panal, que si bien apenas comenzaba, por los usuarios que la componían, pintaba para bien.

El primer contacto, como ya es mi costumbre, fue con Francis Berroterán (@fmbs25). Mi google particular sobre temas de Steemit y ahora, Hive. Le pregunté algunas cosas, a las que ella gustosamente me respondió, no sin antes sermonearme que me pusiera las pilas y dejara la intermitencia crónica que me caracterizaba. Mi segundo contacto, Eddie (@eddiespino). Mi "Quora" personal. A él le consulté, y presto, como siempre, me respondió, orientó y dio su opinión sobre el tema de la bifurcación.

Sabía lo que necesitaba hacer y no me puse a pensar mucho, sino que empecé a publicar con regularidad y a comentar mucho, como siempre ha sido mi costumbre. Comenté tanto, que no sé si fue en junio o julio, que llegué a estar en la lista de la "Liga de la Justi"…, sorry, la “Liga del Compromiso de Hive”, impulsada por @abh12345 (si quieres conocer màs, visita su última publicación y ponte a comentar sin descanso para que logres estar en ese top 100).

Seguí comentando, participando en concursos, retos, iniciativas, dándome a conocer, adaptándome a algunas cosas nuevas que no habían en la cadena de donde venía. Y en ese día a día en esta colmena, interactuando con estas abejas, unas mayores otras recién nacidas, empecé a conocer gente que fue marcando mi travesía. En esta publicación las mencionaré sin orden de encuentro o de importancia, solo lo haré a media que las vaya recordando. Espero no se me escape ninguna.

Una de las primeras en llegar a mi mente es @tripode. Una chica que de manera literalmente increíble, fue escalando posiciones en Hive, gracias justamente a los comentarios. Aún recuerdo el día que le hice la mención de la "Liga del Compromiso" y a la semana siguiente, ya estaba en el podio de la misma. ¡Una verdadera locura lo de esta joven dominicana! Su impulso y madera emprendedora es de admirar y no creo recordar ser testigo de un caso así, en estos tres años que tengo como criptoblogger en estas dos cadenas.

Luego está @danielapevs, una joven venezolana radicada en Perú, que escribe como los dioses, te hace soñar y a la vez, reflexionar, con cada escrito suyo. Si bien al principio fue un poco intermitente, últimamente la he visto más activa y ganando más influencia en la plataforma. En esos mismos días, recuerdo conocer a @miriannalis, otra dama que escribe exquisito y nos motiva con cada palabra que sale de sus dedos.

Justo donde conocí a estas dos damiselas, conocí a otra mujer admirable tanto por su contenido, como por su trabajo liderando la comunidad @naturalmedicine. Recuerdo que la conatacté para quemar lotus y poder publicar por primera vez en su comunidad y además de orientarme en el proceso, me delegó 100 HP para que empezara a desenvolverme mejor en Hive. ¡Te lo aradezco mucho, @riverflows! Que todo en tu vida fluya, como tu nombre de usuario.

Si bien creo haberla conocido desde Steemit, fue en Hive donde nos enlazamos más porque coincidimos en una pasión: comentar. Y desde que nació el proyecto @elcomentador, siempre ha estado allí apoyándonos, tanto en palabras, como en HP. Les hablo de @marybellrg, una gran autora y mejor persona. Te admiro, mi estimada.

Y hablando de estimados, (así me refiero siempre a él), @irvinc es otro nivel. Nos conocemos de la otra cadena, aún así, aquí siempre ha estado visitando y apoyando mi contenido, además de su espaldarazo al proyecto @elcomentador. Muchas gracias, mi estimado. Usted es el caballero de los comentarios y de Hive.

¡Woao! Siento que no voy a terminar, son tantas personas que han estado allí, apoyando, aportando, enseñando, tanto a mi como usuario, como a mí como persona. @Lisfabian, @sacra97, @soyunasantacruz, @equipodelta cada una con sus mensajes y su apoyo a mi contenido. @Mariale07, @angelica7, siempre pensando en mi para invitarme a sus programas.

El pana @alberto0607 apoyándome con algunas cositas en el Discord de @elcomentador. Y qué decir de @tarot911, una magnifica autora y persona que me ha ayudado y ha estado pendiente de mí y del proyecto, siempre apoyando, aconsejándome. De verdad, gracias. Valoro mucho tu tiempo y dedicación.

Y si menciono a @tarot911, no puedo dejar de mencionar al maravilloso equipo de comentadores y curadores de @elcomentador: @actioncats, @mercmarg, @nanyuris, y el profe @josemalavem. Autores muy activos, comprometidos y responsables que han dado su tiempo y esfuerzo a ese proyecto, aportando ideas y "halándome las orejas" cuando lo he requerido.

No puedo terminar este recorrido por Hive y sus abejas, sin mencionar a un usuario que en este año primer año de y en Hive, ha sido un apoyo fundamental para mí. Si digo que somos amigos íntimos, mentiría. Si digo que sé a qué equipo le va en el futbol, sería un vulgar charlatán. Pero este cuate se ha ganado mi admiración desde hace más de un año, porque lo conozco desde hace mucho más tiempo. Me ha apoyado como usuario y como persona. Siempre está allí para mí, como sé que está para todo el que lo necesite, porque si algo tiene @eddiespino es un espíritu de servicio de otra galaxia. Es el tipo más disponible que conozco y el más ocupado, por ello no sé cómo le hace para lograr tanto. Me ha delegado HP y lo ha hecho a elcomentador del cual es socio mayoritario, jajaja. Además, sin él y su enlace con @theycallmedan, ustedes no estuvieran recibiendo un voto decente en sus comentarios. Es una persona desprendida y eso lo ha llevado a lograr tanto en Hive, no solo en HP, reputación o poder de voto, sino en influencia, cariño y admiración que sé muchos de la comunidad latina y hasta anglosajona, le tienen. Y me extiendo aquí sin pena, no porque quiera adularle, ya sabe él que mucho de esto se lo he dicho al privado y a su WhatsApp, pero soy de los que doy honor a quien lo merece, y Eddie es un tipazo. ¡Gracias, bro!

Hive está lleno de personas increíbles, talentosas, serviciales, trabajadoras, creativas. Y eso es lo que nos diferencia de Steemit, (allá no tienen a un @nathanmars,por ejemplo, o un @acidyo, o a un @theycallmedan) donde, las veces que he estado por allá, no percibo ese calor que noto aquí en esta bella Colmena. ¿Es todo perfecto en Hive? ¡Lejos estamos de serlo! Pero hemos demostrado que podemos trabajar juntos, que podemos dejar de lado los egos (algunos, otros siguen sintiéndose exclusivos), que unidos podremos lograr más. Que si sumamos nuestros talentos y habilidades, conocimientos y poder de influencia, alcanzaremos metas altísimas como usuarios y como comunidad.

Una frase de Zig Ziglar es muy acertada en este momento:

"Puedes lograr cualquier cosa que quieras en la vida, ayudando a otros a lograr lo que ellos quieran”.

Este primer año de Hive ha sido espléndido. Comunidades creciendo, dapps desarrollándose, mas usuarios uniéndose, el valor de la moneda subiendo. Si esto es solo en su primer año, ¡ya me imagino lo que pueda pasar desde hoy, hasta cuando cumplamos los dos años!

Mi reconocimiento pues, a los desarrolladores, testigos, inversores, técnicos, diseñadores y toda aquella abeja que forma parte de esta colmena y hace su trabajo para producir la mejor miel de la blockchain 3.0. A todos y cada uno: 🎂 ¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS! 🎂

As usual, 🙄 I'm late to the Hive parties: initiatives, challenges, contests, Discord, Hivechat (when I go), anyway. But there is a saying that goes like this:

"Better to be late, than not to arrive at all".

And here I am, late, but sure.

In a previous post, I wrote about my third anniversary in Hive, which although it was almost two months ago (February 2nd, to be exact), I had pending to write about it and I wanted to frame it in what was Hive's birthday. In the final lines of the post, I add that there are several people to whom I am grateful for many things and that naming them all would take me a whole post. Well, this will be this post, because it is impossible to talk about Hive, without talking about **the people who make life in it, keep it alive and make it a wonderful place to live.

I commented in my post, that I "joined" (started) Hive as such, in May 2020, that is, Hive was already two months old (see how I am always late for the holidays?). I came from Steemit and, well, I had my doubts about staying there or coming here. In the end, seeing that the biggest and best healing projects, in addition to my friends and trusted acquaintances had moved to this hive, I decided to stay here and risk to taste the honey of this hive, which although it was just beginning, by the users who composed it, looked good.

The first contact, as is my custom, was with Francis Berroterán (@fmbs25). My particular google about Steemit and now, Hive. I asked her a few questions, to which she gladly answered me, but not before lecturing me to get my act together and stop the chronic [intermittency] (https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@garybilbao/de-intermittent-to-commenter-my-cum-cum-cumpleanos-numero-3) that characterized me. My second contact, Eddie (@eddiespino). My personal "Quora". He was the one I consulted, and promptly, as always, he answered me, guided me and gave his opinion on the subject of the fork.

I knew what I needed to do and I didn't think too much, but started posting regularly and commenting a lot, as has always been my habit. I commented so much, I don't know if it was in June or July, that I made it to the list of the "League of Justness"..., sorry, the "Hive Engagement League", powered by @abh12345 (if you want to know more, visit his [latest post] (https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@abh12345/the-hive-engagement-league-2eg5cs) and comment relentlessly to make it into that top 100).

I continued commenting, participating in contests, challenges, initiatives, making myself known, adapting to some new things that were not in the network where I came from. And in that day by day in this hive, interacting with these bees, some older, others newborns, I started to meet people who were marking my journey. In this publication I will mention them in no order of meeting or importance, I will only do it as I remember them. I hope I don't miss any of them.

One of the first to come to mind is @tripode. A girl who in a literally unbelievable way, was climbing positions in Hive, thanks precisely to the comments. I still remember the day I mentioned her in the "Engagement League" and the following week, she was already on the podium. A real crazy thing about this young Dominican! Her drive and entrepreneurial wood is to be admired and I don't think I remember witnessing such a case, in these three years that I have as a cryptoblogger in these two chains.

Then there is @danielapvs, a young Venezuelan based in Peru, who writes like the gods, makes you dream and at the same time, reflect, with each of her writings. Although at the beginning she was a bit intermittent, lately I have seen her more active and gaining more influence on the platform. In those same days, I remember meeting @miriannalis, another lady who writes exquisitely and motivates us with every word that comes out of her fingers.

Right where I met these two damsels, I met another admirable woman both for her content, as well as for her work leading the @naturalmedicine community. I remember conatacting her to burn lotus so I could post for the first time in her community and in addition to guiding me through the process, she delegated 100 HP for me to start performing better on Hive. I thank you very much, @riverflows! May everything in your life flow, just like your username.

Although I think I've known her since Steemit, it was in Hive where we bonded more because we share a passion: commenting. And since the @elcomentador project was born, she has always been there supporting us, both in words and in HP. I'm talking about @marybellrg, a great author and a better person. I admire you, my dear.

And speaking of dear, (that's how I always refer to him), @irvinc is another level. We know each other from the other network, even so, here he has always been visiting and supporting my content, besides his support to the @elcomentador project. Thank you very much, my dear. You are the gentleman of comments and Hive.

Woao! I feel like I'm not going to finish, so many people have been there, supporting, contributing, teaching, both to me as a user, and to me as a person. @Lisfabian, @sacra97, @soyunasantacruz, @equipodelta each one with their messages and their support to my content. @Mariale07, @angelica7, always thinking of me to invite me to their programs.

My friend @alberto0607 supporting me with some little things in the Discord of @elcomentador. And what can I say about @tarot911, a great author and person who has helped me and has been looking after me and the project, always supporting and advising me. Thank you very much. I really value your time and dedication.

And if I mention @tarot911, I can't forget to mention the wonderful team of commentators and curators of @elcomentador: @actioncats, @mercmarg, @nanyuris, and the teacher @josemalavem. Very active, committed and responsible authors who have given their time and effort to this project, contributing ideas and "pulling my ears" when I needed it.

I can not finish this journey through Hive and its bees, without mentioning a user that in this first year of and in Hive, has been a fundamental support for me. If I say we are close friends, I would be lying. If I say that I know which team is doing well in soccer, I would be a vulgar charlatan. But this guy has earned my admiration for more than a year, because I've known him for much longer. He has supported me as a user and as a person. He's always there for me, as I know he is for everyone who needs him, because if there's one thing @eddiespino has, it's a spirit of service from another galaxy. He is the most available guy I know and the busiest, so I don't know how he manages to accomplish so much. He has delegated HP to me and he has done it to elcomentador of which he is a senior partner, hahaha. Also, without him and his liaison with @theycallmedan, you guys wouldn't be getting a decent vote on your comments. He's a very detached person and that has led him to achieve so much on Hive, not only in HP, reputation or voting power, but in influence, affection and admiration that I know many in the Latin and even Anglo-Saxon community have for him. And I extend myself here without shame, not because I want to flatter him, he already knows that I have told him much of this in private and on his WhatsApp, but I am one of those who give honor to those who deserve it, and Eddie is a great guy. Thanks, bro!

Hive is full of amazing, talented, helpful, hard-working, creative people. And that's what sets us apart from Steemit, (they don't have a @nathanmars, for example, or an @acydio, or a @theycallmedan) where, the times I've been there, I don't feel that warmth that I feel here in this beautiful Hive. Is everything perfect in Hive? We're far from it! But we have shown that we can work together, that we can put egos aside (some, others still feel exclusive), that united we can achieve more. That if we add our talents and skills, knowledge and power of influence, we will reach lofty goals as users and as a community.

A quote from Zig Ziglar is very apt at this time:

"You can achieve anything you want in life by helping others achieve what they want".

This first year of Hive has been splendid. Communities growing, dapps developing, more users joining, the value of the currency going up. If this is only in its first year, I can only imagine what can happen between now and two years!

My recognition then, to the developers, witnesses, investors, technicians, designers and all the bees that are part of this hive and do their work to produce the best honey of blockchain 3.0. To one and all: 🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂
