Losing My Wallet And Met A Honest Grab Car Driver

Hello guys
With this post i want to share a really interesting experience that happened to me.
Its interesting yet i feel so grateful towards this experience.
So my boyfriend went to meet me in my city.
Since my boyfriend came from another country, i planned to pick him up in the airport.
From my house to the airport, it took 45 minutes to a hour from my house.
At the time, it was still in the morning, around 10 a. m.
Normally, i went to the airport with bus so i can save some transportation money.
But since i am in such a good mood, i decided to just go with Grab car because its just more simple and less hassle.
I dont need to take grab bike or grab car to the big road from my house and waiting for 20 to 30 minutes till the bus to come.
If i took grab car directly from my house, i can just order it right from in the front of my house and the driver will drop me off in wherever i want.
The transportation fee is of course 3 times higher than taking the bus price.

So, what was happened to me at the time?
I dont know if it s because i was so excited because i will meet my boyfriend till i became so careless.
I left my wallet back in the car.
At first i didnt realize it.
During the days, there’re so many calls from unknown number.
I am someone that never took calls from unknown number so i just left it like that.
But in the night time when i already back at home, i decided to just pick up the call
The call is actually came from the grab car driver that i took from my house to the airport.
He asked me if i have my wallet with me.
So i checked the bag that i used at the day and i was so shocked that i cant find my wallet in my bag.
I get back to him immediately and said that i lost my wallet.
The grab car driver said that he cant give it back to me in person because he is very busy.
In other side, i cant pick up my wallet myself because the grab car driver’s house is so far from my house.
So we decided to just send my wallet with grab send in the morning.

This is the grab send driver that sending my wallet to my home.
I need to pay 32.000 idr for the delivery because the house is really really far.

Here i checked all of the things inside of my wallet and i found nothing missing.
I am very grateful for the honest grab car driver and his tenacity to contact me even though i ignored his call so many times.
This is such a big lesson to me to be more careful towards my things no matter how excited i am and to be such a honest person like the grab car driver.
I mean, i dont even remember myself and its been so long.
If i finally realized that i lost my wallet, i might thinking that i lost my wallet in airport or in a mall.
