This castle is considered among the oldest fortified monuments in Trentino, an area of Northern Italy.
The view is breathtaking, in fact its imposing keep dominates the Vallagarina, from here you can see the whole valley.
The castle consists of three walls and has 5 towers.
Currently this castle is open to tourists, therefore visitable.
The first historical information about this castle dates back to 1053.
In 1509 the castle was conquered by the troops of Maximilian I of Austria
This castle has a particular charm, perhaps because it is right on the top of a mountain or because of its 5 towers. Just as it is true that you can see the entire valley from the castle, it is also true that the castle can be seen from any point of the valley.

Il castello di Avio si trova nella città di Avio, città del Trentino-Alto Adige (Italia)
Questo castello è ritenuto tra i più antichi monumenti fortificati del Trentino, zona del Nord Italia.
La vista è mozzafiato infatti il suo imponente mastio domina la Vallagarina, da qui si può vedere tutta la vallata.
Il castello è costituito da tre cinte murarie ed ha 5 torri.
Attualmente questo castello è aperto ai turisti, quindi visitabile.
Le prime informazioni storiche a riguardo di questo castello risalgono al 1053.
Nel 1509 il castello venne conquistato dalle truppe di Massimiliano I d'Austria
Questo castello ha un fascino particolare, forse perché è proprio sulla cima di un monte o per le sue 5 torri. Come è vero che dal castello si vede tutta la vallata è anche vero che il castello si nota da qualsiasi punto della vallata.

Non l'ho mai visitato, ma mi piacciono i castelli, te l'ho detto qualche volta, risvegliano in me quel mistero che si portano dentro, ti spiego, guardo il castello e penso alle porte che conducono ad un altro luogo, passaggi nascosti, luoghi in cui nascondersi, o forse sono influenzato dai film :)
Questo castello è interessante, inoltre anche tutto il panorama attorno è meraviglioso.
