Dopo quasi 2 settimane di assenza, causa lavoro e concomitanza con Contest LBHive e LBA, torniamo ad occuparci del campionato a stelle e strisce: la NBA.

Il punto della stagione: Eastern Conference

La Eastern Conference è più o meno definita.
Nell’ultima occasione avevamo lasciato in testa alla classifica i Brooklyn Nets del trio delle meraviglie Durant, Harden e Irving. In questi giorni sono stati raggiunti dai Philadelphia 76ers a 37 vittorie.
Staccati di 4 vittorie troviamo i Milwaukee Bucks di Antetokounmpo e a 30 vittorie gli Atlanta Hawks del nostro Danilo Gallinari.
Poi tra le 29 e le 25 vittorie si rinchiudono 5 squadre per 4 posti disponibili per i playoff: Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, New York Knicks e Indiana Pacers.
Ormai fuori dalla lotta playoff, a meno di clamorosi avvenimenti, i Chicago Bulls, i Toronto Raptors, i Washington Wizards, i Cleveland Cavaliers, gli Orlando Magic e i Detroit Pistons.

Leggermente meno definita la situazione nella Western Conference invece.
Utah Jazz sempre al comando della classifica con 41 vittorie, seguiti dai Phoenix Suns a 39 che fanno registrare un record di 9-1 nelle ultime 10 giornate.
I Los Angeles Clippers, in striscia positiva di 6 partite si fissano in terza posizione a 38 vittorie.
I Los Angeles Lakers con l’ultima vittoria si appaiano ai Denver Nuggets a 34 vittorie, ma con una partita in più giocata.
Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors e New Orleans Pelicans si trovano tutte nella zona calda della classifica in lotta per la corsa ai playoff.
Ancora un lieve lumicino per i Sacramento Kings a 22 vittorie anche se vengono da 7 sconfitte consecutive.
Giochi fatti ormai per Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets e Minnesota Timberwolves.

Il prossimo appuntamento

Ci aggiorniamo alla prossima settimana (spero) dove andremo a vedere come cambierà la classifica dopo che si giocheranno più di 50 partite.

After almost 2 weeks of absence, due to work and concomitance with Contest LBHive and LBA, we return to deal with the stars and stripes championship: the NBA.

The point of the season: Eastern Conference

The Eastern Conference is more or less definite.
On the last occasion, we left the Brooklyn Nets of the trio of wonders Durant, Harden and Irving at the top of the table. These days they have been joined by the Philadelphia 76ers at 37 wins.
After 4 victories we find the Milwaukee Bucks of Antetokounmpo and 30 victories already of our Danilo Gallinari Atlanta Hawks.

The situation in the Western Conference is slightly less defined.
Utah Jazz always at the top of the standings with 41 wins, followed by the Phoenix Suns at 39 who record a 9-1 record in the last 10 days.
Los Angeles Clippers, in a positive streak of 6 games, are fixed in third position with 38 wins.
The Los Angeles Lakers with the latest victory match the Denver Nuggets with 34 wins, but with one more game played.
Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans are all in the hotspot of the leaderboard battling for the playoff race.
Still a faint glimmer for the Sacramento Kings with 22 wins coming from a 7-game losing streak.
Games made now for Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

We catch up on next week (I hope) where we will see how the ranking changes after more than 50 games are played.
