Thankfulness does not keep a calendar (#MoT - Day #8)

I actually started this set of pages yesterday, but was unable to complete them until this morning. That's fine, though, because we don't have to plan out our calendar and worry about missing a day. Therefore, I finished up yesterday's entry (see here) and will start today's shortly.

Yesterday at church, on the Sunday before Veteran's Day, I was reminded of the freedoms that they have fought so hard for throughout the years. One of the most important ones for me that I often take for granted is the freedom to worship in whatever way I choose. I am so thankful that I can go to church without fear of being apprehended of killed (which happens frequently in other countries around the world) and worship corporately with other like minded people.

Our freedoms are so important to us, but we must also be willing to allow others the same freedoms. Even when we want others to see our side of the situation and agree with us so badly, we must be ready to follow God's example of free will. While I hurt for those who don't believe in the gospel, it is their right to make that choice. On the flip side, however, if you would like to discuss how Jesus Christ came to earth as a man, died on the cross in our place, and conquered death and the grave when he rose again on the third day so that we could spend eternity with Him, please do not hesitate to contact me.
