Splinterlands:: You Dream iT - You Have iT - Bought my First Tract - Equals 100 Plots

It's been a long time that I wrote a post around the amazing game here on the HIVE blockchain - Yes you guessed it right it's none other than Spliterlands. In my last post, I talked about my card collection worth which was close to $8.5K+ - My Cards Collection almost tripled to $8.5K+ & now when I check it its touch almost $10K+.

Anyways that's a separate story with cards increasing in value & at the same time, the marketcap of Splinterlands Game is also rising. As of writing this post the marketcap of the game is making new highs and currently is close to $13+ Mil.

Dreaming of Tract that Equals 100 Plots...

For a long time now, I had been dreaming to buy some plots/lands which is the next planned expansion for the Splinterlands game. More details about it can be read here - Splinterlands Land Expansion Details

The only thing that was stopping me was the price. As you can see from the given image above 1 tract costs you around $1.3K+; if you pay with the BAT token so as to leverage the 20% discount.

Yes; currently there is an offering going on and has been there for a long time. This allows a player to get a discount of 20%; when they pay through the BAT token. I wanted to settle for something which is neither too low in price and neither too High. As I didn't want to regret saying that - Why I didn't buy Tract instead of 10 or 20 plots individually.

Have a look at the price of Region which equals 1000 Plots - the price is $12K - when you pay via the BAT token and leverage that 20% discount. The Region was out of reach from my budget and that's the reason, I settled for 1 Tract i.e. 100 Plots.

Long story short, I've been closing watching the last 50k plots sale. As of writing, there are only 44,492 plots left. The sale started with 150k Plots and now we are left with just a small number of plots to be sold out. I didn't want to miss this opportunity of having something invested in plots. I regretted earlier not entering the game when it was in the Alpha stage. Thought, I use to see many posts written about the game and the rewards being paid out.

But I ignored it and at a later point in time, decided to buy some Beta and then Untammed packs. This is the same kind of an opportunity for many players and investors as well to buy some plots now before the prices of the plots sky-rockets when they start minting Items & Spells; for which you need to have a special type of plots.

Minting Items and Spells will require both the magical resources that can be harvested from land plots that contain them as well as Essences which can be harvested by battling monsters that inhabit Occupied land plots. The type of magical resource used will determine the Splinter of the resulting Item or Spell card.

Having bought 1 Tract was like a Dream come true. I don't know what the future beholds - but right this moment it feels like a victory to me - As I've fullied my dream of buying 100 Plots i.e 1 Tract.
