Splinterlands | A succesfull flip on the splinterlands market

(Edited)

Every once in a while, I just open the splinterlands market and check out the prices of the listed cards. Whenever I see something that looks like it's priced lower than it should be, I'm interested.

Some players feel like they need to have the lowest price on the market. However, if they want their 1BCX card to be lower than a 100BCX card (per BCX ofcourse) it's a losing battle. They will list their cards way lower than it's actually worth, that means that there are great buying opportunities for us.

I might go more in depth about this "strategy" and how I apply it (not sure yet), but for now I just wanted to share a pretty nice and effortless flip.

As you can see, I bought a diamond dragon for $3.25 and 25 minutes later I already sold it for $3.74. I knew I made a good deal on buying a card like this for that price, but selling it only a couple minutes later was pretty cool. I was expecting that it would take a couple of days.

One thing to keep in mind, there is a 5% market fee, which means that I didn't really gain 500 DEC, but around 300, which is still really nice for a minute's work.

It's not gonna make me rich any time soon, but it will help me out quite a bit. I feel like if you really want to earn some money with splinterlands you should do more than just play ranked battles (blog, spot opportunities on the market, play in events, share your referral link, etc.)

Anywaaaaaay, don't apply this strategy too often, because there will be less opportunities for me. 😇
