Hello to all the splinterlands nerds, i was contemplating if i would be able to do the post on stone splitter orc because i hardly use it in my battles and when i checked peakmonster's battle chain, i could not find any battle in which i used it but luckily while trying to complete quest on ts-warrior today, i got a rule that suit the use of the orc and it did really great in that battle...*

Big thanks to the splinterlands founder for their support and their humble curators for their dedication towards curating players post, it really goes a long way in increasing players earning....

This week battle challenge is about an old card that has been in existence for a very longtime, it belongs to the first edition of beta released on splinterlands and it also has the alpha version, it is rare card with strong melee power...

True to the name of their kind, the Stonesplitter Orcs can cleave any stone into pieces, revealing the ores and gems that may dwell within. They are also fierce foes, whose pickaxes can crack the skull of an enemy monster like a nut.

The orc is indeed very powerful and his attack can be fatal because of his enrage abiliy and it has retaliate ability which makes melee attackers to be wary of it..I had a battle with #Astron in heavy hitlers and melee mayhem rules.

• LORD ARIANTHUS

I used the lord at the front to protect the other monsters from magic monsters and the opponent came with one magic that could have cause havoc to my monsters without the lord...

• CORNEALUS

The cornealus is a healing monster, it has thorns, fire return and a long life which makes it fit into the second position especially incase the opponent comes with sniper, it will be able to defend and delay the attackers..

• CHAIN GOLEM

*The chain golem has a shield and void with stun ability and the rule of the battle favors monsters with the stun ability because one a monster is stunned, the attack on it has double effect..

• STONESPLITTER ORC

It has high melee power and can also retaliiate which is why i used it and it did really great as it help me take down the opponent kraken which could have been a source of headache that can make me lose the battle, his retaliate work effectively in the battle.

• SPIRIT OF THE FOREST

i used the spirit for her healing and protect ability so it can help give armor to all the monsters and that helped a great deal and she also help to heal the lord arianthus and hence give me more chance to win the battle...

• KRON THE UNDYING

The kron is my last card and also my last hope, because i believe his last stand ability can make me win the battle too, so i really count on him but fortunately he didn't have a chance to even use his last stand ability as i killed the enemies monster while still having many monsters on the battle field..
