If there is one thing i've learnt on this decentralized social media #hive is the ability to bring ones ability into existence, ability todo it by oneself, finding solutions to problems, and being rewarded for one skill and abilities, where you can also learn from people from different culture different communities unlike the facebook or instagram where they even make money from one for using their app

So the generator set i've been using in the garden for my irrigation system is due for service, i observed the current being supplied by the generator is not as bright as before and also its taking much time before it starts.

When it comes to mechanical works, care should be taken especially for someone who is not a professionally trained engineer, but in this case, i don't have problem servicing the gen, as this is not the first time am doing that. Maybe a much bigger faults, i can wait till i have a professionally trained engineer.

When servicing a generator it is important to check the spark plug, exhaust, carburetor, starting coil and piston, its important to note is there is smoke or dirt covering any part, carefully clean out and change all parts that need to be changed.

I have my plug spanner, screwdriver, brush, petrol and engine oil to lubricate the piston and necessary parts.

There was a bit set back working on the gen, i noticed the fuel tank is leaking, i never planed for this but it did happened, i need to fix this as quickly as i can, so i opted to go get another one.

I removed the old fuel tank to go change at the warehoude, and luckily i was able to get another one, even thou there is a difference in the colour of tanks from red to blue.

In the end, i was able to service the gen and work another fuel tank, so later in the week i'd go run that with my irrigation machine, hoping it will work perfectly.
